    Tyra Banks' Smize & Dream ice cream venture has turned into a nightmare.

    Court documents exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail reveal the supermodel's former landlord has filed a $2.8 million lawsuit against her for breach of contract.

    Christopher Powell alleged in the October 2025 complaint that Banks, 52, entered into a 10-year commercial lease to open an ice cream shop and 'learning center' at his Washington, DC, property but then 'abruptly' backed out and refused to pay the rent.

    He has claimed Banks and her longtime partner, Louis Bélanger-Martin – who is also being sued – 'fabricated grievances to justify their breach' and that Banks 'weaponized her celebrity influence to deter' Powell from filing a lawsuit.

    The model has been slammed with a whopping multi-million-dollar lawsuit for refusing to pay rent to her former landlord. This throbbing lawsuit against Smize & Dream, her ice cream venture, does not speak well of the brand at this time, when she recently had a meltdown moment.

    Tyra Banks had the public with mixed feelings about her brand with her recent chaotic promotional move, leaving fans with more questions than answers.

    Bank's new ice cream brand, Smize & Dream, potentially has a hanging million-dollar debt. Her former landlord has filed a $2.8 million lawsuit against her for breach of contract.

    Tyra Banks sued for $2.8 million by landlord over ice cream shop lease

    A Washington, D.C., landlord has filed a $2.8 million breach of contract lawsuit against Tyra Banks and her ice cream business, Smize & Dream.

    In court documents obtained by Entertainment Weekly, Christopher Powell claims that he entered into a 10-year commercial lease in April 2024 with Banks, her nonprofit School of SMiZE, and partner Louis Martin that would see her open up an ice cream shop in his D.C. building. However, he claims that Banks suddenly terminated the lease that summer and is now refusing to pay rent. 

    Lawyers for Powell, Banks, and Martin did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.

    Bulls vs Hornets injury report: Ayo Dosunmu, Coby White, LaMelo Ball, and more

    It’s been almost a week since the Chicago Bulls last took the court—a 123–91 loss to a shorthanded Golden State Warriors team. But like their opponent, Chicago wasn’t fully healthy heading into the matchup either.

    Against Golden State, Chicago was without Kevin Huerter, Tre Jones, Isaac Okoro, and Jalen Smith. After five days of rest, three of those four are set to return. Jones, Okoro, and Smith will rejoin Billy Donovan’s rotation after absences of three, eight, and five games, respectively.

    Huerter is the only Bull, aside from Noa Essengue, who will miss a second straight game due to injury. He suffered an adductor strain just six minutes into the December 1 matchup against the Orlando Magic. The 6-foot-7 wing didn’t travel with the team to Charlotte, joining Ayo Dosunmu as one of the players who remained in Chicago.

    Sixers rule Maxey out for 1st time this season vs. Pacers

    Tyrese Maxey won’t play the full 82 games for the 2025-26 Sixers.

    The Sixers ruled Maxey out Friday night for their matchup with the Pacers because of an illness. Sixers head coach Nick Nurse said pregame that the sixth-year guard hadn’t been able to participate in the team’s activities during their mini-break the past several days.

    Maxey was the only Sixer to play in all of the team’s first 23 games. He entered Friday averaging an NBA-high 39.9 minutes and ranked third in points per game with 31.5. Maxey’s also posted 7.2 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 0.9 blocks per contest. 

    Pacers vs. 76ers Prediction, Odds and Best NBA Prop Bets for Friday, Dec. 12

    The Indiana Pacers are looking to make it three wins in a row when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

    The Pacers have won four of their last six games to move to 6-18 on the season, including their first road victory in Chicago last Friday. Meanwhile, the 76ers fell to the Lakers after winning three straight and four of five.

    The oddsmakers have the 76ers as home favorites at the best betting sites on Friday night.

    Let’s take a look at the odds, players to watch and my prediction for Friday night’s NBA matchup.

    76ers starting guard Tyrese Maxey has gone from probable to questionable on Friday morning’s injury report, opening the door even wider for Quentin Grimes. Even if Maxey does play, I like Grimes to stuff the stat sheet on Friday night.

    76ers Finally Close To Full Strength With Joel Embiid, Paul George, And Tyrese Maxey Tracking Toward Return

    The 76ers enter Friday’s matchup against the Pacers with a chance to field something close to their full roster. After a season filled with inconsistency, the team is finally trending toward better health as several key players move closer to returning.

    Joel Embiid (knee) and Tyrese Maxey (illness) are listed as probable. Jared McCain (thumb) will be available, while Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee), Hunter Sallis (shoulder), and Trendon Watford (adductor) are all ruled out. Paul George is not listed on the report, suggesting he is expected to play.

    Meanwhile, for the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) remains out, along with Kam Jones (back), Aaron Nesmith (knee), Ben Sheppard (calf), and Obi Toppin (foot). Quenton Jackson (right hamstring) is listed as questionable.

A reliable source estimated her property would now be worth about $150m.

    The year-long John Cena retirement tour will officially come to an end this weekend, as the WWE legend bows out after a career spanning over two decades.

    Regarded as one of professional wrestling's all-time greats and undisputed biggest stars, Cena has travelled across the globe in 2025 to farewell fans, touching down in multiple countries including Australia, France, England Saudi Arabia and USA.

    But for the final time on Sunday (AEDT), the 48-year-old will lace up the boots and throw on his famous jorts in what will be his final match inside the squared circle.

    Update on John Cena vs. Gunther at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

    John Cena will have all the time he wants at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

    Our own Bryan Alvarez wrote to his subscribers on X that with Cena vs. Gunther scheduled to open the show, and the event having no set runtime, Cena will have as much time as he needs.

    “At this point, there is no set runtime for Saturday Night’s Main Event, so everyone will get all the time they need. Cena vs. Gunther is currently scheduled to open the show and Cena will get as much time as he wants.”

    Dave Meltzer also addressed Cena vs. Gunther opening the show in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noting that since the show is airing only on Peacock in the United States, and not NBC, they are not confined to a hard out at 10 p.m. Eastern, as they were for Goldberg’s retirement match in July.
