    The Brisbane Heat will welcome the return of Australian spinner Matthew Kuhnemann for tomorrow's hotly anticipated KFC Big Bash League home game against the Perth Scorchers at the Gabba.

    Kuhnemann was cleared today to make his return after missing the Heat’s opening game on Monday as he recovered from a side strain.

    His inclusion will see fellow left-arm spinner Paddy Dooley drop out of the squad. Dooley was a Local Replacement Player in Monday’s exciting final over loss to the Melbourne Renegades at Geelong.

    The Heat has also called in Toombul pace bowler Tom Balkin to their 14-player squad.

    Big Bash League: Jhye Richardson’s return locked in as Perth Scorchers bat first against Brisbane Heat

    Jhye Richardson’s Perth Scorchers return has been locked in, with the speedster coming into the side for their clash with Brisbane Heat at the Gabba.

    After being unavailable for the Scorchers’ season-opening win over Sydney Sixers in Perth on Sunday as he joined Australia’s Test side for their preparations ahead of the third Test of The Ashes in Adelaide, Richardson linked up with his teammates in Queensland on Wednesday.

    He replaces another fast bowler in Mahli Beardman, whose two overs in Perth’s first game were taken for 28 runs, in Perth’s sole change.

    The Heat won the toss and chose to bowl first, leaving Perth’s power-packed batting line-up with the task of putting a big total on the scoreboard.

    Adam Sandler’s Most Underappreciated Comedy Deserves A Second Look

    As I find myself creeping up on the wrong side of 30, I am going through the kind of millennial midlife crisis that actually makes sense in this economy. I am watching a lot of Adam Sandler movies. After Sandler’s legendary 90s run, I drifted toward other things, with Big Daddy being the last entry I paid full attention to until years later. 2000’s Little Nicky felt like the point where Sandler fatigue set in for both critics and audiences, earning roughly $58 million domestically against a reported $85 million budget, and landing an abysmal 22 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

    Having finally watched Little Nicky with intent rather than letting it play as background noise, I am sad to report that despite its ambition, it is not a particularly great movie. That said, I think it was done dirtier than it deserved. There are genuine laugh out loud moments scattered throughout, and while it lacks consistency, it stands as an overambitious stylistic swing that I am glad exists. Sandler took a real creative risk after absolutely owning the 90s, and that alone earns it some respect.

When Emily's on-again-off-again Parisian chef love Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) shows up in Rome intending to win her back—as the Season 4 finale set up—he sees her cozying up with Marcello and decides to return home without ever speaking to her. But after a series of unfortunate events results in Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) shutting down the Rome office and the Agence Grateau team returning to Paris, Emily and Gabriel's paths intersect once more.

    Trae Young returned to action with the Hawks with fanfare after missing 22 games. He bumped Nickeil Alexander-Walker to the bench, although head coach Quin Snyder did state Young would be on a minutes restriction.

    The opening minutes of the game was a boondoggle, however, as an 8-0 Hornets run prompted an early Snyder timeout. Things were just as rough post-timeout, as Charlotte’s ball movement was multiple steps ahead of Atlanta’s defense almost every possession. The Hornets used this sharpness to jump out to a 24-9 lead.

    The Hawks found their footing a bit, but they face a pretty big deficit. The defense remained a step behind, but the offense matched Charlotte’s almost shot for shot after the opening minutes.

    The comedian, 32, and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, 29, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson.

    "My best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief," Hewitt, a model, captioned a photo of the couple holding their daughter in a December 18 Instagram post.

    Scottie was born on December 12, and her name is a tribute to a special family member she never had the chance to meet.

    Davidson's father Scott Matthew Davidson was a firefighter who died during the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001 when he was 33.

    The actor-comedian, 32, welcomed his "perfect angel girl" with model girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, 29, the pair confirmed on Instagram Thursday, Dec. 18. "my best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief," Hewitt wrote while Davidson quipped "wu tang forever."

    After a lengthy back-and-forth, the pair ultimately settled on the name Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson for their firstborn. The "Saturday Night Live" alum recently revealed that the pair were waiting to meet their child before agreeing on a name.

    "We thought we did, and then we thought we found another one," he told USA TODAY earlier this month about changing their minds on a name. "We just wanna meet it, and then we're like, you know, this is a (blank)."

    NFL Thursday Night Football preview: Rams at Seahawks is a game of the year candidate

    We might look back and realize that the winner of Super Bowl LX was actually determined during a monumental NFC West clash in Week 16.

    That’s how big the second meeting this season between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks could be.     Hawks star Jalen Johnson is stuffing the stat sheet in ways that haven't been seen that often in NBA history.

    Trae Young may have made his much-anticipated return from a knee injury on Thursday night against the Charlotte Hornets, but the Atlanta Hawks have become Jalen Johnson's team in his absence and that continued with Young still on a minutes restriction. Johnson, who turned 24 years of age on Thursday, showed out on his birthday as he tried to carry the Hawks on his back as they fought an uphill climb all night long.

    Despite the Hawks' 133-126 loss to the Hornets, Johnson put up a monster stat line that made the game that close to begin with. The Hawks star put up 43 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists to go along with a steal and a block — barely missing out on what would have been his fifth-consecutive triple-double.
