Ruben Amorim is expected to recall Luka Modric and Goncalo Ramos when Milan host Maurizio Sarri’s Atalanta on Sunday. According to Sky Sport Italia, both are in line to start.

La Dea beat Venezia 3-1 in Serie A last weekend, then Pafos 3-1 in the Conference League on Thursday. They have nine points from six games and sit 10th.

Milan, Amorim has tried Musah alongside Modric in central midfield: Pulisic could be the one left out
Milan start that run tomorrow against Atalanta, then travel to Bournemouth in the Europa League and Udine in the league.
Against the Dea, coached by Maurizio Sarri, Milan will field an entirely different starting XI from the one that won away at Salzburg last Thursday.
An underwhelming display against Sassuolo and half an hour off the bench against Salzburg: Pulisic has lost momentum since his goal against Lecce before the break appeared to give him a lift. Against Atalanta, he looked set to give Ramos the right support, but today Amorim tried a starting line-up without the American international. A significant call at a delicate stage of the season.

Christian Pulisic could block Alphadjo Cisse's start against Atalanta — Milan Vs Atalanta selection call has real bite
This is the sort of selection problem managers secretly love and publicly pretend is simple. It is not simple at all. Christian Pulisic’s presence for Milan Vs Atalanta gives Ruben Amorim a genuine headache, because Alphadjo Cisse has done everything he possibly can to force his way into the picture — and still may not get the start he wants.
Cisse has at least made the conversation unavoidable. On Thursday, the 19-year-old tore Salzburg apart with a hat-trick, the kind of return that turns a promising name into a genuine selection issue. That came after August 15th, when Ruben Amorim started Goncalo Ramos and Alphadjo Cisse together in a friendly against Manchester United in Wroclaw and both men scored in a 4-2 win. Since then, though, the picture has shifted. Tonight, Goncalo Ramos is expected to return at the centre of the attack against Atalanta, and that immediately squeezes the space available to Cisse.
