Geelong star Jeremy Cameron has been taken to hospital as GWS produced a stunning 13-point comeback over the Cats in a night of on-field carnage for both teams.

After a surprise cameo in defence, Cameron hurt his left collarbone in a heavy fourth-quarter collision with GWS star Clayton Oliver as the Giants secured a 12.14 (86) to 11.7 (73) victory at Engie Stadium on Saturday.

The Giants trailed by a game-high 39 points in the third quarter before slamming through six unanswered goals, with Callum Brown kicking the decisive major.

Leading all afternoon until Brown’s goal, the Cats were hanging by a thread after Cameron, Tanner Bruhn and Jack Henry went down with injuries.

Davis Cup captain Lleyton was at courtside on Friday to cajole and cheer on his 17-year-old son, who earned one of the most impressive victories of his fledgling career in the boys' tournament.

Taking on Dutch prospect, 11th seed Thijs Boogaard, who'd stretched former world No.1 Daniil Medvedev to a final-set tiebreaker at a grass-court event in Rosmalen only last month, Hewitt won 6-4 6-4 on famous Court 18 where Wimbledon's longest match between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut was played.

Geelong coach Chris Scott says star forward Jeremy Cameron is capable of performing despite the lingering effects of the broken arm he suffered in last year’s grand final.

Cameron did not get his first kick until the final quarter of Thursday night’s loss to the Lions and had no impact on the contest, finishing the match goalless and with just four disposals. He appeared to favour his heavily strapped arm during the warm-up but was not in obvious discomfort during the match.

However, it is the third time in the past four matches Cameron, who is regarded as one of the toughest and most talented players in the game, has had fewer than 10 disposals.

A trio of Hawks have been recalled to face the GIANTS.

Flynn Perez, Calsher Dear and Jack Dalton have been recalled to the Hawks' Round 16 side set to face the GWS GIANTS this Friday night at the MCG.

Perez returns to the lineup for his sixth game this year after being a SSP recruit in March, while Dear and Dalton earn their first opportunity at AFL level since Round 11 and Round 8, respectively.

Coming out of the side are Jarman Impey (injured), Josh Weddle (suspended) and first-year Hawk Cam Nairn (omitted).

Pegula Pounds Sabalenka for 23rd Final in Berlin

When showers subsided, Jessica Pegula unleashed a shot-making storm to bury world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka on the Berlin grass.

Dishing a final-set bagel, a sharp Pegula dismissed Sabalenka 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-0 to charge into her 23rd career final at the Berlin Tennis Open.

It is Pegula’s third career grass-court final, including her second final in Berlin where she won the 2024 championship. The flat-hitting Pegula scored her fourth win in 13 meetings vs. Sabalenka.

The third-seeded Pegula will play for her third grass-court crown on Sunday when she meets eighth-seeded Czech Linda Noskova in the final.

In today’s second, rain-delayed semifinal, Noskova swept Filipina wild card Alexandra Eala 6-2, 6-4.
