Three people who drove through floodwaters have been rescued and campers have been stranded, following a weekend of heavy rainfall and storm activity across South Australia.
Several South Australian towns recorded record-breaking August rainfall totals across Saturday and yesterday, including 110 millimetres at Lenswood, 101mm at Coromandel East and 150mm in some parts of the state's far north.
The State Emergency Service said it had received more than 530 requests for assistance during the weather event, mostly responding to flood-related incidents in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

A man and a woman inside the vehicle managed to climb out of the car windows.
Then while police were helping the pair, another car drove into trouble.
