GTA VI teams up with Netflix for first-of-its-kind deal

Millions of gamers have been waiting for Rockstar Games to drop more news on Grand Theft Auto VI, but I don’t think anyone had “Netflix special” on their bingo card.

Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix; this is expected to be our first proper look at the game ahead of its November release.

Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look airs at 5am AEST on August 28. Netflix

What we’ll actually see is still anyone’s guess. Actual gameplay feels like a safe bet, along with a deeper look at Vice City, new mechanics, and hopefully a few extra surprises before launch.

What To Watch For in the Hungarian Grand Prix

From the McLaren vs. Ferrari battle to Kimi Antonelli’s championship advantage, and from Aston Martin’s progress to the hottest day of the weekend so far, here is just a selection of the areas you should keep an eye on when the lights go out for the final time before the August break at the Hungaroring.

It has been a tough season for Lando Norris and McLaren, particularly in the context of being defending champions but so far having yet to stand on the top step of the podium.

Hungarian Grand Prix race times, weather forecast, how to follow on the BBC

The final Formula 1 race before the summer break is the Hungarian Grand Prix, from 24-26 July.

McLaren's Lando Norris took pole in Saturday's qualifying, with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and the Briton's team-mate Oscar Piastri set to start behind him.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton round out the top five.

While Hamilton qualified second, the stewards deemed him to have impeded Piastri during the session, resulting in a three-place grid penalty for the seven-time world champion.

Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli, who originally qualified fourth, has also dropped down three places for not slowing sufficiently under single yellow flags.

He will start in seventh, behind team-mate George Russell in sixth spot.

Hungarian GP grid: Revised top 10

Reigning world champion goes in search of his first win of 2026 from pole ahead of reshuffled grid after Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli's demotions; watch Sunday's race at 2pm with build-up from 12.30pm, live on Sky Sports F1 and Main Event

Lando Norris quipped McLaren were in "new man's land" ahead of starting from the head of a Grand Prix grid for the first time this year, as Lewis Hamilton maintained hope that he could fight back from his qualifying penalty in the Hungarian Grand Prix.

World champion Norris will start from pole position on a Sunday for the first time since last November in Las Vegas after usurping Hamilton from the top of the timesheet with his final lap of Q3.

Austrian Grand Prix: George Russell grabs pole from Charles Leclerc after Max Verstappen crash

Mercedes driver George Russell controversially snatched pole position at the Austrian Grand Prix from Ferrari's Charles Leclerc with the last lap of the session.

The result came amid late drama as Russell set his lap, beating Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, despite passing yellow flags for a crash by Red Bull's Max Verstappen at the penultimate corner.

Russell's team-mate Kimi Antonelli, who was running just ahead of the Briton, also passed the Verstappen incident, but did not improve his time and will line up fourth.

McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were sixth and seventh behind Verstappen, who kept fifth despite his crash.

George Russell made it back-to-back F1 pole positions via some late Qualifying drama in Austria.

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff heaped praise on George Russell following Saturday’s Qualifying session for the Austrian Grand Prix, describing his final Q3 effort as “incredible” and one that came from him using “all his experience” in F1.

Russell trailed team mate and championship leader Kimi Antonelli after the first Q3 runs, but the pole shootout was turned on its head across the second sequence of laps when Red Bull’s Max Verstappen crashed heavily and brought out the yellow flags.

GTA 6 will cost $80 – and physical edition will not contain a disc

Grand Theft Auto 6, the latest instalment of Rockstar Games' biggest ever franchise, will cost $79.99, with a more premium edition costing $99.99.

It is not yet known how much the game will cost in the UK – the BBC has asked Rockstar for a list of regional prices.

Rockstar said physical copies of the game will contain a code for a digital download for the game inside a box, rather than a disc.

Freelance video games journalist Vic Hood said the price tag for the standard edition was "fairly reasonable" but said the lack of disc may "irk some physical collectors".

However, she added the decision made sense from Rockstar's point of view, "as it reduces the amount of rebuying and reselling and helps prevent leaks".

Rafael Nadal has revealed he spent most of his career in pain as he willed himself to play through a chronic foot injury and went on to win 22 grand slam titles while spending two decades ruling men’s tennis alongside Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

The Spaniard, who retired in 2024, said he took immense risks with his health to keep his career going, after a Netflix series called Rafa provided an in-depth look into his physical and mental struggles to pursue greatness.

“I’ve had to make decisions about my health, where you are on the borderline between right or wrong. But if I hadn’t explored all that, I probably would have had 10 fewer grand slams … this is the reality,” Nadal told the BBC on Friday.

Someone understood to be an insider has shared information from their sources about specific speculated GTA 6 pre-order information, including price details and trailer 3 release plans.

Best Buy allegedly sent an email to affiliates stating GTA 6 pre-orders will start on 18 May. A number of people shared on social media they had received the email and this was verified by reporters.

Rockstar Games has not yet shared any official information about this yet though and it remains speculation at the time of writing.
