Alex de Minaur's bid for a confidence-boosting title grab ahead of his looming Wimbledon campaign ended in heartbreak after slumping to   Kamil Majchrzak in the final of the ATP's Dutch grass-court event in s-Hertogenbosch.

The Australian No.1 had opted to use the tournament in s-Hertogenbosch to rebuild his shattered confidence after his French Open setback when bowing to out Jakub Mensik in the third round last month.

Majchrzak upsets Medvedev to reach first ATP final

Majchrzak had already beaten No.1 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-finals and followed that up with a 7-6 (7-4) 6-1 victory in 89 minutes over the Russian former world No.1.

Medvedev was playing his second match of the day, having battled past Marin Cilic 6-2 3-6 6-1, with his double-header eventually taking its toll.

The pair was evenly matched in the opening stages, but Medvedev had to hold off a break that would have secured Majchrzak the first set in the 10th game.

The Pole got an important hold himself in the following game and then eventually converted his third set point to take the lead.

On this day 10 years ago, Daniel Ricciardo saw a famous Monaco victory taken away by a Red Bull strategic disaster.

Exactly 10 years ago today, Daniel Ricciardo stood on the Monaco podium a broken man. He should have been celebrating his first victory on the most glamorous stage in motorsport.

Instead, a botched pit stop and a questionable strategy call conspired to rip it away from him. It had all started so brilliantly.

Ricciardo lit up the streets of the Circuit de Monaco in qualifying with a 1:13.622, beating Nico Rosberg by 0.169 seconds to claim his maiden F1 pole position.

F1 news: Lando Norris flags Indy 500 interest with surprises speedway visit

On the same day as the Indianapolis 500, the McLaren driver raced in the Canadian Grand Prix.

He failed to finish the Formula 1 race in Montreal due to a gearbox failure.

Afterwards, he travelled to Indianapolis where he met up with former McLaren teammate Daniel Ricciardo and Indianapolis 500 finisher Conor Daly.

On Tuesday, Norris visited McLaren’s Indianapolis headquarters, cut a lap of the speedway with McLaren’s IndyCar team principal Tony Kanaan in a Corvette, congratulated winner Felix Rosenqvist, and took a tour of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum with Roger Penske.

Norris spoke with media members at the track where he revealed his admiration for the Indianapolis 500.

Round-up: Norris ‘wants to try things outside F1’ after Indianapolis visit, and more

How significant a role did Overtake Mode in the battles for position in the Canadian Grand Prix?

The rubberbanding was enormous. First Verstappen can’t lose Hamilton until the not-seen mistake from Lewis. With the tires reversed and sudden VSC’s. the favors were returned with the Ferrari faster. Once he evaded Verstappen (won’t call it an overtake), Verstappen then got the rubberband power so he could stay close to Hamilton. Both Verstappen and Hamilton overtook each other when the other ones battery was suddenly depleted.

The same happened with the Mercedes pair. Too much errors at big braking zones for multiple races now. Is it the aero re-attaching? The engine harvesting less than expected so less engine braking? It is very hard to see what is going on.

Heartbreak High final season review – a colourful but contrived farewell to Hartley High

The third season of Netflix’s remake has a spritely energy and an appealing fresh-faced cast, but it lacks what made the long-running original so compelling

When it comes to remaking an old TV show, where do you draw the line between honouring the original and carving out a tone and style of your own? I’ll grant that Netflix’s Heartbreak High remake has its virtues, such as a sprightly energy and an appealing fresh-faced cast, but I’m not sure I can ever forgive the producers for taking such a blinged-out U-turn away from what made the long-running original so compelling.

Heartbreak High has been a global hit. Does its final season make the grade?

After glowing reviews when this reboot of the ’90s series first dropped, the second season didn’t garner the same level of praise from critics. But audiences clearly still loved it. The series has been a massive global success for Netflix, reaching its top 10 shows in more than 40 countries, ranking in the top most-watched English-language shows worldwide, and winning a slew of awards. And, importantly for its target audience, it had huge engagement on TikTok. The trailer for this third and final season was even first released there.

The Heartbreak High kids are finally graduating Hartley High. After a two-year gap, Heartbreak High Season 3 drops globally today, 25 March — more than a year after filming wrapped on the Fremantle Australia and NewBe production in Sydney.

Since it debuted on Netflix on 14 September 2022, Heartbreak High has become one of the most beloved teen dramas on the platform — and easily one of the most successful reboots of a ’90s series we’ve seen in recent years. Beyond the drama, the show has been widely praised for its diverse cast and nuanced depiction of teen sexuality and relationships — one that actually reflects the real Australia and has resonated worldwide.

Tales of championship heartbreak to heroics Feeney can draw on

If Broc Feeney can climb the championship mountain in 2026, he won’t be the first to turn desolation into elation.

The Red Bull Ampol Racing driver was the benchmark in 2025, winning 14 races and claiming 19 pole positions. However, he fell short in a final day capitulation that handed the title to Chaz Mostert.

For now, history will show Feeney as the seventh driver to claim the most poles and wins in a season and fail to win the title, after Peter Brock (1984), George Fury (1986), Mark Skaife (1999 and 2006), Craig Lowndes (2005), Jamie Whincup (2010) and Scott McLaughlin (2017).

At 23, Feeney has already encountered his fair share of heartache, and those who came before him have some tales to tell. Many all-time greats have suffered chastening defeats, yet managed to turn it around and win it all, some even going on record-breaking runs.

Littler odds-on to retain Paddy Power World Darts Championship title

Luke Littler is the odds-on favourite to win the Paddy Power World Darts Championship, following the conclusion of the opening two rounds at Alexandra Palace.

Reigning champion Littler has defeated Darius Labanauskas and David Davies to win through to the last 32 of his title defence.

The 18-year-old now meets Mensur Suljovic in round three, and having been the 11/10 pre-tournament favourite with Paddy Power is now 4/6 to lift the Sid Waddell Trophy on January 3.

World number two Luke Humphries is the 9/2 second favourite ahead of European Champion Gian van Veen, who is 15/2 with the sponsors.

Michael van Gerwen is 14/1 to claim a fourth World Championship title, ahead of Josh Rock (18/1), Stephen Bunting (28/1) and Gary Anderson (33/1).
