    Mullanpur horror for Bumrah, Arshdeep: India pacers leaks runs, go wicketless

    It was a day to forget for India's pace duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh as they went wicketless and leaked runs during the second T20I against South Africa on Thursday, December 11. Bumrah conceded 45 runs off his four overs, which was his joint third-worst performance with the ball while Arshdeep didn't enjoy any home comfort being back in Punjab.

    India won the toss and opted to field in Mullanpur, where dew made its presence early on. The first two overs from Arshdeep and Bumrah did ask questions of the batters, but then they started to lose control as the conditions became ideal for batting. Arshdeep had a horror performance in the 11th over as he conceded seven wides, much to the anger of India coach Gautam Gambhir.

Harshit Rana hits the deck, and Breetzke picks it up and hits it towards fine leg here for the boundary. Rana was not pleased with Arshdeep Singh's placement. Maybe he could have had a better effort in getting behind that. Shaun Pollock on comms mentions how the ball might be tailing into the right hander here and the fine-leg needs to be a bit further behind in that case.
