Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (toe) has no injury designation after third injury in three weeks

For the third time in as many weeks, Lamar Jackson carries no injury designation and will start for the Baltimore Ravens despite missing a practice with a different injury.

Jackson is good to go for Thanksgiving as he'll lead Baltimore into the night cap of a Turkey Day tripleheader against the rival Cincinnati Bengals.

This week, Jackson missed Monday's walkthrough due to a toe injury, his ailments having gone up and down his leg over the past month. In previous weeks, Jackson missed practices due to ankle (Week 12) and knee (Week 11) injuries. Those have come after he missed three games earlier this season with a hamstring injury.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — In what has become a routine this month, quarterback Lamar Jackson returned after missing one day of work and is set to play in the Baltimore Ravens' upcoming game.

Jackson's latest injury is to his toe, which was hurt in the first quarter of Sunday's 23-10 win over the New York Jets. He didn't participate in Monday's walk-through but was back on the field Tuesday and is set for the Thanksgiving night game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

"I just got fell on, but I'm good though," Jackson said after Tuesday's practice. "The toe's good."

What's wrong with Lamar Jackson? Ravens star denies injuries are root of slump after loss to Bengals

The Baltimore Ravens flipped a switch when Lamar Jackson returned, quickly getting back to their winning ways, but some wins in recent weeks came in spite of an uncharacteristically sluggish offense.

On Thanksgiving, the Ravens' offensive lapses caught up to them. Baltimore committed five turnovers against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that had struggled all season long, and the Ravens were blown out on their home field.

While Joe Burrow's return was a factor for the Bengals, Jackson and the Ravens left plenty on the table on Thanksgiving night. For Jackson, his last four games can officially be labeled a mini-slump that is starting to raise questions regarding whether he is close to 100 percent healthy.

Latest chapter of Jackson vs. Burrow has been defined by injuries and divergent results

Dan Orlovsky and Andrew Hawkins discuss whether Joe Burrow's return from injury can elevate the play of the Bengals' defense. (1:49)

BALTIMORE — In a season when they've both been tested by injuries, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow look to prove they're still among the NFL's best quarterbacks, just like they did during a Thursday night game at M&T Bank Stadium a year ago.

In a wild 35-34 victory by the Ravens last season, Burrow threw for 428 yards and four touchdowns — only to be outdone by Jackson's three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. Flashing their different styles and strengths, they went back-and-forth to dazzle a national television audience, from Burrow hitting Ja'Marr Chase in stride for a 70-yard touchdown to Jackson delivering a game-winning, 5-yard touchdown toss with a follow-through that resembled a floating jump shot.

Bengals vs. Ravens Live Updates, Score: Joe Burrow Returns to Face Lamar Jackson

The Bengals and Ravens meet (at 8:20 p.m. ET) in an AFC North battle of two teams whose seasons have gone in opposite directions. Cincinnati has struggled with its star quarterback out of the lineup, but will try to restore any hope of a late-season playoff push with Burrow back from injury. Baltimore will look to make it six in a row, and take control of the division.

Teams on opposite sides of the AFC North standings meet in the nightcap of the 2025 NFL Thanksgiving schedule when the Baltimore Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals. The Ravens are tied atop the division with the Steelers, and currently hold the tiebreaker. Cincinnati, meanwhile, is tied with the Browns at the bottom of the division, but the Bengals will have receiver Ja'Marr Chase back from suspension and quarterback Joe Burrow (toe) back in the lineup. However, Tee Higgins (concussion) will miss this contest. Ravens wideout Rashod Bateman doesn't have an injury designation and will return after missing the last two games.
