This comes as International Rugby League (IRL) shortened the format this year, meaning some nations that competed in the previous World Cup in England couldn’t take part.

The men’s Rugby League World Cup draw this week looks mighty lopsided, in more ways than one.

The tournament kicked off with a bang in Sydney on Thursday night, when Australia ran over the top of a strong New Zealand side to win a two-point thriller in front of a packed Allianz Stadium.

But this week’s fixtures threaten to produce five blowout scorelines.

According to Sportsbet as of Wednesday, New Zealand and England are rated unbeatable $1.002 favourites against Cook Islands and France respectively, while Australia (vs Fiji) and Tonga (vs Lebanon) are also paying the same ridiculous price.

An external investigation found that during a farewell speech for the school’s sergeant, former head Tony George said words to the effect of: “Sarge is not infallible. He found himself in a situation last year where he used a figure of speech to a student, I’ll kick your arse until your nose bleeds. I don’t necessarily disagree with those words, but we can’t speak to an autistic student like that.”
