If your concert calendar is currently missing a heavy dose of stadium-sized 2010s indie rock, consider it sorted. Grammy-winning American rock royalty Kings of Leon have officially announced their massive return to Australia and New Zealand for a headline tour in March February and March 2027. Urgently need tickets? Kings of Leon pre-sale starts Thursday, October 22, 2026, with general sale commencing Tuesday, October 27.
The tour arrives hot on the heels of their tenth studio album, O My Beloved, which will be released worldwide on November 6, 2026, and will see the family band Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew Followill (three brothers and a cousin) taking over massive outdoor stages and racecourses across the country. Even better? They’ll be bringing much-loved Australian psychedelic rock troupe Ocean Alley along as special guests.
Kings of Leon are heading back to Australia, with the Nashville rock icons announcing a three-date tour that will bring their formidable catalogue and new material to stages across the country in early 2027.
The Followill family will kick off the run at Sydney’s Centennial Park on 28 February before travelling to Brisbane Showgrounds on 3 March and Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on 5 March. The Melbourne performance will be the band’s only Victorian show, with Australian psychedelic rock favourites Ocean Alley joining the lineup at every date.
The tour arrives on the eve of a new chapter for Kings of Leon, with their 10th studio album, O My Beloved, scheduled for release on 6 November 2026. The record follows 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun and signals the next instalment in a career defined by an evolving sonic palette, Southern rock sensibilities and arena-ready anthems.

Sydney Summertime has added a second headliner to its debut run at Centennial Park. A month after The Strokes were confirmed to open the series, organisers have announced Kings of Leon for Sunday, 28 February 2027, with Ocean Alley joining them as special guests.
The Nashville band will be touring their tenth studio album, O My Beloved, due 6 November. Expect the new material alongside the songs that made them arena regulars – “Sex on Fire”, “Use Somebody” and “The Bucket” among them.
Ocean Alley make a lot of sense on this bill. The Northern Beaches six-piece have turned their mix of psych-rock, reggae and slow-burn grooves into one of the country’s biggest live draws, and “Confidence” and “Knees” have become crowd singalongs wherever they play. It’s fair to say, they are festival-favourites on our shores.
