Worker heard 'loud bangs' as security guards block mall entrance
A witness has described hearing multiple gunshots at Sylvia Park mall in Auckland’s Mt Wellington.
A mall staff member told RNZ just after 3pm they were in lockdown.
A shop worker said police armed with long rifles are in the area. She told RNZ she is inside a shop with customers, and the doors have been locked.
