ChatGPT caricature trend: What it is, prompt to try it.

Have you ever had a caricature of yourself made? You know those funny drawings you can get made at Disney World or at most boardwalk spots where the artist accentuates your features in an over-exaggerated cartoon-style portrait?

Well, if you missed out on your last summer vacation, AI chatbots like ChatGPT are generating caricatures now and they're currently all the rage on social media.

Just go to ChatGPT and upload a close-up image of yourself. From that point, there's a few ways to continue. The way most users are generating their caricature is by using this viral prompt: “Create a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me.”

In 2016, one economist tipped Sydney would thrive on the back of a finance boom. Now he expects the next decade to be different.

Sydney, the nation’s economic engine room, has always had a beating heart: the CBD. But by 2036, one of the most noticeable shifts might not be the types of jobs, but where they are located, according to KPMG economist Terry Rawnsley.

Sydney high schools need to find room for 22,000 more students in the next decade. Where?

In 2016, the Herald forecast the inner-city student population would explode. This is what really happened – and what needs to happen next.

The world of schools and education loves a fad. In the past decade, it has seen plenty: from construction of architecturally impressive new schools with open-plan classrooms to project-based learning to boost “21st century” skills.

But the world of education is sobering up from the cascade of gurus, trends and shiny bright new things of recent years, says Catholic Schools NSW chief executive Dallas McInerney, who oversees almost 600 schools.

He says educators now recognise that it might appear old-fashioned to have students sitting in rows facing a teacher at the front of the room – but it is an incredibly effective way to learn.

The cause? The opening of Sydney’s south-west and west metro rail lines.

“That big transport infrastructure over the next 10 years is going to really reshape how Sydney functions as an economic entity,” Rawnsley says, predicting concentration of the labour market in a singular business district will be dispersed over several centres of economic activity.

People coming off weight-loss injections risk fast weight gain

Slimmers who come off weight-loss injections such as Mounjaro or Wegovy can regain their lost pounds four times faster than those who stop conventional dieting and exercising, new research suggests.

Data published in the British Medical Journal suggests overweight people shed large amounts when using jabs – about a fifth of their body weight – but once they quit they regain 0.8 kg every month, on average.

That means they return to their pre-treatment weight in a year and a half.

"People buying these need to be aware of the risk of fast weight regain when the treatment ends," warns investigator Dr Susan Jebb, from Oxford University.

Stopping weight-loss jabs leads to much faster rebound than thought – so are they still worth it?

The song, Not For Sale (Polar Bear), actually pre-dates the 1970 formation of Queen, and was co-written by May and vocalist/bassist Tim Staffell for Smile, a power trio completed by drummer Roger Taylor. According to the Queen Vault fan website, the song was first recorded by Smile during a session at De Lane Lea studios in London in September 1969.

Merry Christmas, Queen fans: This unreleased prog track is a gem

First played on Brian May’s radio show, Not For Sale (Polar Bear) shows a more melancholy side to Freddie Mercury

Christmas treats don’t come any bigger for Queen fans than a previously unheard track from Freddie Mercury and friends. But the beautifully understated 1973 out-take Not For Sale (Polar Bear) is less a show-stopper than a seasonal curio – a melancholic stocking filler rather than a cracker to file alongside Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga or even the cheesy Thank God It’s Christmas.

Not For Sale was debuted by Queen guitarist Brian May on a special festive broadcast on the Planet Rock radio station on Monday evening. If relatively subdued by Queen standards, the tune nonetheless has a wonderfully haunting quality – especially when a young Freddie weighs in on the chorus with a goose bump-conjuring falsetto.

A knife-wielding attacker has killed at least three people at metro stations in Taipei, with authorities saying the suspect also died after trying to flee police.

Taiwan's Premier Cho Jung-tai said the attacks at Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan station were "a deliberate act", although the motive was not immediately clear.

Taiwan: Knife attacker kills three after smoke bombing Taipei metro

At least three people have been killed and nine others injured as a knife-wielding attacker ‍went ‍on a rampage in the Taiwanese capital Taipei.

The 27-year-old suspect set off smoke bombs at Taipei's main metro station, before running to another station in a busy shopping district, stabbing people along the way, Taiwanese Premier Cho Jung-tai said.

The suspect, named by officials as Taiwanese man Chang Wen, later died after falling from a multi-storey building, Cho added. His motive remains unclear.

Attacks of this kind are rare in Taiwan, which has low rates of violent crime. The last time a similar incident struck Taipei was more than a decade ago in 2014.

How The Wicked Cast & Crew Survived The "Mind F–k" Of Filming 2 Movies At Once

Wicked and Wicked: For Good were filmed simultaneously, and the cast and crew have shared some of their strategies for keeping the story and arcs straight when they were jumping between scenes and settings each day. Starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the two movies are a joint adaptation of the Broadway musical, which itself has a shorter runtime than the first movie.

There was plenty of debate surrounding the Wicked production about whether splitting it into two parts was the right move, which has also been discussed again by critics in the wake of Wicked: For Good's weaker reviews. However, Chu and screenwriters Winnie Holzman (who also wrote the script for the Broadway show) again defended the choice in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Opinion | People’s Sexiest Man Alive is finally sexy

It has been a great few weeks for politics. Prop. 50 passed in the state of California, putting the power of the state’s congressional district lines in the hands of voters. Zohran Mamdani will be the next mayor of New York City, becoming the first Muslim, first person of South Asian descent and the youngest person to hold the position.

And, arguably, the most important political decision made that affects the most everyday lives: People announced this year's Sexiest Man Alive, the first time an openly gay man has been given the honor, and finally gave it to someone who is sexy and relevant: Jonathan Bailey.

From the outset, Suzy Eddie Izzard wants you to know she’s not too bothered about names and pronouns. “Prefer Suzy, don’t mind Eddie. Everything works. How relaxing is that?”

The 63-year-old’s career has always been as fluid as her onstage persona, leaping from stand-up to screen drama, political campaigning to charity work. At the age of 47, she decided to take up marathon running, and that year she crossed 43 finish lines in 51 days. She’s not one to sit still.
