    'Dutton Ranch' Season Finale Preview: Rip Punches a Guy Who Grabs Beth

    The season finale of “Dutton Ranch” debuts on July 3, and there is plenty of action — including one big beatdown we can debut on Variety.

    In the clip, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) forces her way into the 10 Petal Ranch slaughterhouse facility owned by Beulah Jackson (Annette Bening) and has some choice words for the office manager, Denise (Maritza Guerrero), who is just trying to do her job. It’s classic Beth!

    Once inside, she’s confronted by Tommy (James Eddie), who stupidly grabs her to escort her out. Luckily, Rip (Cole Hauser) is there to kick his ass. It’s classic Rip!

    Dutton Ranch Finale Ends In Murder, But One Star Maintains His Innocence: 'We Didn't See Him Do It'

    "Dutton Ranch" star Juan Pablo Raba told TVLine that Joaquin's phone call to his father would bring heartbreak and devastation to everyone in the "Yellowstone" spin-off's first season finale — and now that we've seen it, we actually think he was putting things mildly.

    We'll get to the rest of the episode in a minute, but first, we'll begin with the question on every viewer's mind right now: who shot (and killed!) Rob-Will? The fateful moment occurs at the end of the finale, with Oreana rushing to the Jacksons' front door after hearing a gunshot, only to discover her father bleeding out on the entryway floor. (We should have known this was going to happen the minute Rob-Will and Oreana finally had a heart-to-heart talk just a few minutes earlier.)

    'Dutton Ranch' — the new 'Yellowstone' spinoff — premieres tonight: Here's what to know as we follow Beth and Rip to South Texas

    Dutton Ranch follows Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they relocate to Texas with their adopted son, Carter (Finn Little), and uncover a dead body while settling into their new ranch. Unfortunately for them, their morbid discovery puts them on a crash course with Beulah Jackson (Annette Bening), a fellow rancher determined to preserve her family’s 190-year-old property.

    "It's been a big shift. Montana was the biggest character of [Yellowstone]," Reilly told USA Today. "So now we have a new character in Texas. We're sizing it up, and it's sizing us up as well."

    Dutton Ranch is set in Rio Paloma, a fictional South Texas city. Building on characters originally created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, the series picks up a year after Yellowstone ends with Beth and Rip buying a ranch in Dillon, Mont.

    ‘Dutton Ranch’ Stars Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser on Creating Beth and Rip’s Steamy Chemistry: ‘We Take Care of Each Other’

    Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser have reunited to play Beth and Rip once more on the “Yellowstone” spinoff “Dutton Ranch.” The first two episodes are now available to watch on Paramount+.

    The series takes place six months after the couple’s modest Montana ranch burns down, and they head down south to Texas in order to have a fresh start as ranchers. The lovebirds, along with their adoptive son Carter (Finn Little), have to adjust to a place where they have no connections and can’t intimidate everyone around town. Of course, complications ensue, thanks to a stacked cast which includes Jai Courtney, Ed Harris and Annette Bening.

    ‘Dutton Ranch’ Release Schedule: Here’s When New Episodes Drop On Paramount

    The first two episodes of Dutton Ranch, the new Yellowstone spinoff featuring beloved couple Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, are now streaming, setting up a new adventure for John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) strong-willed daughter and his loyal foreman.

    Created by Chad Feehan, Dutton Ranch serves as both a sequel and spinoff to Paramount Network’s hit neo-Western drama Yellowstone, which officially ended after five seasons in December 2024. Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan serves as an executive producer.

    The series follows Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser) as they leave Montana behind to start over in South Texas after the dramatic events of Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2. The series focuses on the fan-favorite pair as they build a new life together away from the Yellowstone Ranch.

    ‘Dutton Ranch’ cast on the new ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff — and not working with Taylor Sheridan ‘at all’

    Although “Dutton Ranch” is a spinoff from Taylor Sheridan’s flagship series, “Yellowstone,” new cast members — such as James Eddie, Sterlin English, Marc Menchaca and Juan Pablo Raba — exclusively told Page Six that they didn’t meet the franchise’s prolific creator “at all.”

    “Dutton Ranch” follows Rip and Beth — portrayed by Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, respectively — after the events of “Yellowstone,” as they set up shop in Texas and encounter hostile new neighbors, like Beulah (Annette Bening) and her fixer, Joaquin (Raba). 

    The spinoff show was created by Chad Feehan, who worked as the Season 1 showrunner, with Sheridan serving as an executive producer.

    EXCLUSIVE: When it comes to Hollywood legends, young Aussie Finn Little has worked with the best of them, including Academy Award winning actor Kevin Costner.

    The Brisbane teen, now 19, shared the screen with Costner in the hit western series Yellowstone, and returns for the highly-anticipated spin-off Dutton Ranch premiering today.

    Looking back at the scenes he did share with Costner, Little could agree: "Yeah, he's Hollywood royalty." 

    "He was definitely a bucket list person to work with," Little told nine.com.au. "So I'm happy I got to share the screen with him."

    Little joined the franchise playing troubled orphan Carter in Yellowstone Season 4. Costner led the series as patriarch John Dutton III; Dutton Ranch continues his legacy.

    ‘Dutton Ranch’: Paramount+’s Beth & Rip ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff Sets Premiere, Unveils Trailer, First-Look Images

    “A legacy is a beautiful thing, but only if it survives,” says Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton in the trailer for the latest Yellowstone spinoff, Dutton Ranch.

    The trailer released Monday (see it below)  reveals that the Dutton sister and her husband Rip, played by Cole Hauser, are continuing much of their behavior from five seasons of the Taylor Sheridan drama series. There’s explosions, fires, sexy romps and guns, this time behind a beautiful Texas sunset rather than a Montana one.

    Dutton Ranch will premiere on Paramount+ on May 15 at 8 p.m. with two episodes. It will also air on Paramount Network.

    Yellowstone's Dutton Ranch Spin-Off Could Fix The Biggest Complaint About Marshals

    Some "Yellowstone" fans aren't happy with "Marshals," Spencer Hudnut's procedural about Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) fighting crime in Montana. The complaints stem from the spin-off being a straight-up procedural that lacks the qualities of other "Yellowstone" franchise series, which blend action with more somber and dramatic moments. The good news for old-school fans, though, is that "Dutton Ranch" director Greg Yaitanes claims Taylor Sheridan's upcoming "Yellowstone" spin-off is different from "Marshals." As he told Collider:

    "It's just a different kind of show. It's much more of a drama and a soap. It has the best parts of what I loved about 'Yellowstone.' Each one was 'Yellowstone' in completely different ways, but each completely honest to the original series."

    ‘Dutton Ranch’ First Look: Beth and Rip’s ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff Sets May Release Date, Drops Gun-Toting First Teaser

    Paramount has set the premiere date for the highly-anticipated “Yellowstone” spinoff “Dutton Ranch.”

    The show, which follows Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser) after the events of the mothership series, will debut with its first two episodes on May 15 on Paramount+ and at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Paramount Network, followed by one new episode weekly thereafter. The first season consists of nine episodes.

    Paramount has also released a new teaser and first-look images for the show, which can be seen below. In the teaser, despite the fact they thought they left the violence of Montana behind them, Beth and Rip seem to find themselves in a violent fight for their new lease on life.
