St Kilda has finalised its team to face GWS at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

The Saints will make one change to the side as they look to bounce back and claim their sixth win of the year.

Veteran small forward Dan Butler returns to the side after recovering from a hamstring injury suffered against the Blues in Round 8. Butler played a vital role in the St Kilda VFL side's thrilling win over the Swans, with 23 disposals and the game-sealing goal.

Giants gun ready to fire after 'mini pre-season'

A short break and GWS' bye has Jesse Hogan prepared for the second half of the season, says Adam Kingsley

WITH a planned bye-week break and "mini pre-season" under his belt, Greater Western Sydney spearhead Jesse Hogan is fully fit for the remainder of the season, according to coach Adam Kingsley.

Hogan has not featured since the Giants' round eight loss to Gold Coast, having been initially sidelined for two weeks with a hip pointer injury before undergoing a three-week reconditioning block that included the club's round 13 bye.

After successfully overcoming the injury, Hogan has been named in the extended squad for Sunday afternoon's match against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

French Open R3 previews and predictions: Cobolli vs. Tien, Berrettini vs. Comesana

Compatriot Jannik Sinner may be gone, but Italians Flavio Cobolli and Matteo Berrettini are hoping to pick up the slack at the French Open on Saturday. They are set for respective third-round showdowns against Learner Tien and Francisco Comesana.(10) Flavio Cobolli vs. (18) Learner Tien Cobolli vs. Tien is probably not a third-round match you expected to see on Court Philipp-Chatrier, but that will be the case when the Saturday schedule of play gets underway at the French Open. With so many big-name players — Jannik Sinner included — having vacated the top half of the draw, Cobolli and Tien are left to take center stage. It should be a worthy match, too, even if they aren’t two of the biggest stars in the sport. A resurgent Cobolli has emerged from an early-season slump with a runner-up finish in Munich, a quarterfinal performance in Madrid, and now a pair of wins at Roland Garros over Andrea Pellegrino and Yibing Wu — both in straight sets. A red-hot Tien won the Geneva title last weekend and has maintained momentum with solid clay-court victories over Cristian Garin and Facundo Diaz Acosta. Although Cobolli is strong on this surface, he is by no means a clay-court specialist. For the time being, Tien is the craftier and more consistent all-around player of the two. That he has learned so quickly to play well on clay should be able to offset Cobolli’s minor surface advantage.Pick: Tien in 4

That’s the question on everyone’s lips after they broke their duck with a thrilling 22-16 win over fierce rivals Canterbury Bankstown at CommBank Stadium on Saturday.

After a dismal three-match losing streak during which they conceded 142 points, Wests showed plenty of defensive grit during the opening half of this grudge match.

However, after leading 16-6 at the interval, they were outscored two tries to one in the second stanza by a team whose attack had spluttered for much of 2026.

NRL Late Mail Round 12: Su'A injures calf; RTS returns

The Dragons have been forced into a late reshuffle after Jaydn Su'A injured his calf in Friday's Captain's Run.

Emerging talent Hayden Buchannan will come into the side and line up in the centres for Saturday's clash with the Warriors.

A number of youngsters are set to step up and grab their opportunity with stars away on Origin duty.

See all the late mail, official team news and updates for Round 12 of the 2026 NRL Telstra Premiership competition.

Dragons: Interim coach Dean Young has been forced into a late change after Jaydn Su'A injured his calf at training on Friday morning. Hayden Buchanan will come into the centres. "Hayden's been waiting for his opportunity. He's a good young kid, he's played against the Warriors before and done a really good job so I've got a lot of confidence that he'll go well," Young said. Tyrell Sloan has overcome a groin injury to be named on the bench. Calliope Roosters junior Tyler Peckham-Harris has been named among the reserves for the first time in his young career.

NRL Team Update: Tuivasa-Sheck into the centres

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will start in the centres in the One New Zealand Warriors’ round 12 NRL clash against the Dragons at St George Venues Jubilee Stadium in Sydney today (5.30pm kick-off local time; 7.30pm NZT).

Originally named on the extended bench in jersey #23, Tuivasa-Sheck has recovered from a shoulder injury suffered in the round nine win over the Eels that forced him to miss the Magic Round encounter with the Broncos last Sunday.

At the 24-hour deadline before kick-off, Tuivasa-Sheck was moved into the starting lineup replacing Adam Pompey on the left edge he filled in the wins over the Storm, Titans, Dolphins and Eels.

SANFL Team Selection: Round Seven v Glenelg

Adelaide veteran Taylor Walker will feature in his first SANFL game for Kuwarna since 2014, after being named in the line-up for the team’s clash against Glenelg on Saturday afternoon.

Walker’s inclusion in the team comes after he had missed the past two AFL matches with a minor hamstring strain.

Mitch Hinge will also make his return to competitive football after sustaining a moderate hamstring strain during the AFL side’s Gather Round win against Carlton last month.

The pair will be joined in the team alongside fellow AFL-listed players including Archie Ludowyke, Chayce Jones, Tyler Welsh, Mitchell Marsh, Lachlan Sholl, Charlie Edwards, Hugh Bond, Finnbar Maley, Oscar Ryan, Nick Murray, Indy Cotton, Billy Dowling and Reilly O’Brien.

Round 7 Hostplus SANFL League Match Previews

Adelaide's Taylor Walker will play his first Hostplus SANFL League game on Saturday since Round 5 of 2014, when the Crows and Magpies did battle at the Clare Oval.

The Eagles had been averaging a league-best 98 points per game when the Tigers set their sights on the top-placed side.

So what a huge effort from Matthew Clarke’s men to keep them to a mere 52.

The Bays hadn’t been happy with their performance the week before in a loss to South, so their response would have delighted Clarke.

“This was a positive reinforcement of what we have done so far this season,” he said of the 23-point win that left his men level at the top of the table with the Eags with impressive 5-1 records.
