    Samantha Armytage’s three-word message to Karl Stefanovic

    Karl Stefanovic's former Nine colleague has sent the ousted Today star a very suprising message in a new interview.

    Samantha Armytage has sent her former Nine colleague Karl Stefanovic a staunch message of support after his ousting from the network, admitting "I salute him" for his stance against his bosses.

    Speaking to the Daily Telegraph on Sunday, the 49-year-old said Stefanovic is "very good at what he does", despite being fired from the network over his controversial podcast interviews.

    "I wish him well with his new project. He's in his 50s now. I think your life changes in your 50s. You start thinking differently," said the ex-Seven star of the 51-year-old.

    Samantha Armytage replaces Sarah Abo on Today as Channel 9 makes major shake-up

    Samantha Armytage is set to return to the Today show temporarily next week while Sarah Abo is on maternity leave.

    Yahoo Lifestyle understands that the 49-year-old is filling in alongside Michael Willesee Jr. and will be on air for a few weeks.

    The former Sunrise star, who will replace Sylvia Jeffreys, has sat behind the Today desk before — last appearing when she covered the Christmas break with radio host Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli.

    She quit the Channel 7 breakfast show in 2021 after eight years and signed with Nine to host last year's season of The Golden Bachelor.

    It's yet another shake-up for the breakfast show as the network continues to find a permanent replacement for Karl Stefanovic, who was axed last month due to his controversial podcast.

    Conor McGregor was linked to the UFC Freedom 250 fight card, as he'd previously hinted that his long-awaited comeback could finally materialize on it.

    The special UFC Freedom 250 event will go down in a few hours at the White House in Washington, D.C. It marks a notable part of the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence from British colonial rule. 

    McGregor's name was conspicuously absent from the UFC Freedom 250 fight card. Instead, the UFC confirmed that the Irishman would return to headline UFC 329 during the organization's traditional International Fight Week.

    Conor McGregor had initially hoped to fight Michael Chandler at the White House, before it was announced that Mauricio Ruffy would be on the card instead – with the Irishman coming up against Max Holloway a month later.

    McGregor has not fought in the UFC for five years, with his return to the sport set to grab all the headlines. It appeared to make sense that it would be on the one-off event on the South Lawn of the White House. He admitted he would have liked to face Chandler, but is not too displeased about the fight not coming to fruition.

    Here is a non-canonical, or semi-canonical tale – maybe the distinction is beginning to blur – from the Star Wars universe, serving up some entertaining but very familiar Star Wars narrative tropes on a spectacular Imax scale. And if you thought it was possible to end a movie like this without a climactic aerial combat scene involving X-wing fighters, think again. It is developed from the Disney+ streaming TV series The Mandalorian and set in the timeframe just after Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, in which holdout warlords from the defeated Empire are plotting a return against the New Republic.

    Fortnite's Save the World mode made a significant move on April 16, 2026, switching to a free-to-play model after years as a paid experience. That's great news for most players, but if you're on mobile, there's a hard stop: Save the World is not available on mobile devices, and there's no sign that's changing anytime soon.

    The short answer is no. According to Insider Gaming, the reason comes down to file size. Save the World is a separate download from Fortnite's main client, weighing in at around 9GB. That's manageable on a console or PC, but mobile devices typically don't have the storage headroom to accommodate it.

    The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) and technical supplier PUMA have unveiled a special commemorative version of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 Official Match Ball, ITRI, for Sunday’s showpiece final.Hosts Morocco will take on Senegal in the decider at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah (kick-off 20h00 local time / 19h00 GMT), where one will be crowned the new champions of Africa.
