Stardew Valley Creator To Share Update About Nintendo Switch 2 Edition "Very Soon"

In September, the Stardew Valley creator Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone lifted the lid on a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of his farming and life sim. During the Nintendo Direct reveal, it was noted how this version would be arriving in "Fall 2025". We're now just weeks out from the end of the year, so what's the status of it?

If you have been wondering where the Switch 2 version is (and the free upgrade for existing Switch players), apparently, there is going to be "something" announced "very soon". Barone also apologised to fans for the wait – here's what he had to say on social media:

Stardew Valley creator Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone says that news relating to the promised Switch 2 edition of the farming sim is "coming soon." First announced during the September 2025 Nintendo Direct, the updated version of the 2016 gaming hit was initially scheduled to be released in fall 2025.

Originally launching on PC, Stardew Valley has been so successful that it has received a version on every platform imaginable, from Linux to PlayStation Vita. It felt inevitable that it would eventually receive a version for Nintendo's newest super-hit console, but its expected release window has come and gone.

It looks like Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone may be getting up to his old shenanigans again, and by 'old shenanigans' I mean turning a small, just one more thing update into a big, beefy add-on. Barone said shortly after confirming the Stardew Valley 1.7 update is on the way that "it’s hard to just stop improving it when there are still things that can be improved," but in a more recent post he pretty strongly implied that there's a lot more in the pipe than just improvements.

Lorenzo Bertelli and Andrea Guerra on Prada’s Manufacturing History and Welcoming Versace into the Fold

Lorenzo Bertelli believes that artificial intelligence and artisanal intelligence are the twin engines powering the future of the fashion industry. Proof of this vision lies in Prada’s continued investment in training the next generation of skilled talent across its companies.

For the past 25 years, the Prada Academy — an in-house training school established at every one of the group’s manufacturing sites — has been shaping the expert workforce behind everything, from leather goods to ready-to-wear. to footwear. And its reach is about to grow even further: with the upcoming 100% acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings set for December 2, the Academy is poised to welcome a new chapter and an even broader pool of young artisans eager to learn their craft.

MILAN — Prada Group on Tuesday officially took control of Versace, which, despite its global recognition, powerful place in pop culture and clear aesthetic signature, has never had business success to match the strength of its brand.

With the €1.25 billion ($1.44 billion) acquisition, which cleared final regulatory hurdles, Prada adds one of Italy’s most glamorous but troubled fashion houses to its portfolio: Versace has been listless under Capri Holdings, which paid €1.83 billion for the house in 2018.

The 50-year-old actress, who gave birth to Santiago in 2018, stressed that she was much wiser and more patient than in previous years.

Speaking to the Sunday Times Style magazine, the Hollywood star said: "It was the right time. You have so much more wisdom and patience when you become a mother in your 40s. For so long, it was all about me."

As she said, she had dedicated all the previous years of her life to herself and her career. “Forty years that were about me was a long time, so I was really blessed to have my child later in life, because I had traveled, I had done everything I needed to do for my career. “Now everything I do is just the icing on the cake and I get to do it with my son,” she emphasized. Elsewhere in the interview, the famous actress explained that she would only accept a role if it involved people she “really wanted to work with,” as it would mean she would be deprived of time she could spend with her son.

Barmy Army return to Adelaide where it all began for The Ashes

England cricket's most parochial fans, the Barmy Army, will once again descend on Adelaide Oval this Friday for The Ashes.

It all began as an idea on the hill back in the 90s, exploding via a Hindley Street t-shirt shop.

Andy Stockings from the Adelaide Barmy Army said to Sonya Feldhoff & Rory McClaren, "We missed out four years ago, so everyone's got all their money saved up".

Trump Says U.S. Lacks ‘Certain Talents’ As He Defends H-1B Visa In Fox Interview

President Donald Trump said H-1B visas were necessary to bring talented workers to the U.S., adding that the country lacked certain talents, in a confrontational exchange during an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, which comes two months after he signed an executive order that hiked the fees on the skilled worker visas to $100,000.

In a clip of the interview that aired on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle,” Trump claimed the U.S. was leading China on AI “by a lot,” said the U.S. has “the greatest economy,” and added “there is never going to be a country like what we have right now.”

Trump, who slapped an extra $100,000 on the H-1B visa, now says there aren’t enough talented people in the U.S. to fill jobs

Sasha Rogelberg is a reporter and former editorial fellow on the news desk at Fortune, covering retail and the intersection of business and popular culture.

President Donald Trump has appeared to change his tune on the stringency on one of his immigration policies, speaking about the importance of H-1B visas for specialized labor only a couple months after imposing steep hurdles meant to reduce the number of those visas doled out by U.S. companies.

Trump told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham in an interview released on Sunday that although he continues to believe the U.S. would not be able to increase wages for American employees if it brought in thousands of foreign workers, he also said the American workforce is lacking in key areas.

Trump’s Shocking Brawl With Laura Ingraham on Fox Exposes His Weakness

MAGA influencers are in a rage over President Trump’s appearance on Fox News, in which he told host Laura Ingraham that the country needs skilled foreign workers. The surprisingly antagonistic dustup came after Ingraham challenged Trump’s support for visas for skilled workers, declaring that they “flood the country” with “hundreds of thousands of foreign workers.”

“I agree,” Trump said, before delivering the coup de grâce: “But you also do need to bring in talent.” When Ingraham claimed we have “talented people here,” Trump replied: “No, you don’t,” which appeared to mean that—sit down for this one—foreign workers actually can play a complementary and productive role in the U.S. economy. Ingraham was visibly irked when Trump argued that trained U.S. workers are not always available as needed, creating a need for foreign workers. After all, this is true MAGA heresy.
