Will ‘Ripple’ Return for Season 2? Netflix Show’s Ending, Explained

Life can bring strangers together in unexpected ways. That’s exactly what happens in the new Netflix series Ripple, which dropped on December 3.

Despite being on separate paths, once Walter (Frankie Faison), Nate (Ian Harding), Kris (Julia Chan), and Aria (Sydney Agudong) cross paths, their lives are altered forever. After his beloved wife dies suddenly, Walter finds community at the Lumi wine bar, owned by Nate. Kris is a newly-fired music executive who seeks solace at the wine bar and immediately connects with Nate.

Nate’s marriage is on the rocks when Ripple begins, but a random injury (caused by Aria dropping a small rock from her balcony) leads him to the hospital, where a doctor discovers Nate has cancer. Aria, a talented singer, is struggling with her life as it is now, and this includes her relationship with John (Robert Bazzocchi). However, Aria’s chance encounter with Kris inspires them both.

'Cosy' Netflix series forces fans to binge all eight episodes at once

A 'cosy' Netflix series is forcing fans to binge all eight episodes at once. It is also being dubbed as the perfect watch leading up to the Christmas holidays.

Viewers are also hopeful of being treated to a second season sooner rather than later after watching the new show called Ripple. The series was only added to the streaming platform earlier this week, on December 3.

While it has arrived with very little fanfare, an increasing number of fans have been urging others to discover the title. It was originally a production for the Hallmark channel but made a last minute switch to Netflix, making its debuts on the platform instead.

Will There Be A ‘Tulsa King’ Season 4? Here’s The Good News

Sylvester Stallone’s Tulsa King wraps up its third season on Sunday. Will the Taylor Sheridan series come back for a fourth season?

Tulsa King Season 1 debuted on Paramount+ on Nov. 22, 2022, and consisted of nine episodes, while Season 2, which premiered on Sept 15, 2024, ran for 10 episodes. Season 3 of the series premiered just over a year later, on Sept. 21, with the first of 10 new episodes.

Stallone stars in Tulsa King as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a former mob capo who is exiled to Tulsa, Okla., by his New York City crime family when he is sprung from prison after serving a 25-year sentence for murder. It doesn’t take Dwight long to build his own criminal empire in Tulsa, however, which begins with legal marijuana sales.

Hit Paramount+ Show in Turmoil After ‘Unprofessional’ Layoffs

Popular TV series Tulsa King is facing turmoil after more than two dozen employees were cut before Season 4. These firings comes amid news that Taylor Sheridan, creator for the Sylvester Stallone-led drama, will be leaving Paramount+ for NBC Universal at the end of the 2028. Season 3 showrunner Dave Erickson has left the show as well. The impact on the Tulsa King behind the scenes has been so substantial that the next season is said to have no formal showrunner and crew members that were laid off are not mincing words about how they learned they were cut.

One of the staff members surprisingly cut a few weeks before Tulsa King Season 4 began shooting is Emmy-nominated stunt coordinator Freddie Poole, who has been with Stallone for 14 years.

A Man on the Inside season two review – Ted Danson’s despicably bland show is everything wrong with TV

Only our current tech hellscape could create a comedy so insidiously inoffensive. Prepare to be pummelled into submission as your time is siphoned off by OK entertainment

This is a cosy, lighthearted whodunnit about a retired professor who gets a second wind as a private eye. It’s also a bingo card for just about everything that makes streamer-era TV so patronising, uninspiring and mind-numbingly dull.

On the surface, A Man on the Inside’s crimes might seem negligible: it’s a little schmaltzy, a little too pleased with itself in that wisecrack-stuffed American comedy way. Yet it’s exactly that inoffensiveness that makes this strain of television so insidious. When the New York Times critic James Poniewozik coined the term “mid TV” to describe the current “profusion of well-cast, sleekly produced competence” that has come to dominate our screens, it wasn’t so much a vicious takedown as a shrug at the blah-ness of it all. The tech giants have pummelled us into submission by siphoning off our time via OK entertainment.

Ted Danson on falling 'madly' in love with his Netflix costar, curbing divorce rumors

LOS ANGELES − Ted Danson’s wannabe private eye Charles Nieuwendyk breaks a professional golden rule in Season 2 of Netflix’s “A Man on the Inside” (streaming Nov. 20) by dating the main suspect in his new case.

But it’s hard to blame Charles for the criminal misstep, because Wheeler College professor Mona Margadoff − who just might be the blackmailer at the heart of the academia mystery − is played by Mary Steenburgen, Danson’s wife of 30 years. Two-time Emmy winner Danson, 77, didn’t have to dig deep for the love vibes.

"Charles is smitten, and I was too," Danson tells USA TODAY. "It's so much fun to play falling in love with someone you're madly in love with. You just sink into each other, which is lovely."
