Geelong is the new home of Spilt Milk until 2030
Geelong/Djilang is set to become the new Victorian home of one of Australia’s biggest touring music festivals, with Spilt Milk officially planting its roots in the region until 2030. Backed by Visit Victoria and the City of Greater Geelong, the move cements Geelong as the next chapter for a festival that has become a major force in Australia’s live music landscape.
Produced and curated by Kicks Entertainment, Spilt Milk first arrived in Victoria in 2019 and quickly established itself as a must-do event on the national calendar. After four successful editions in Ballarat, the festival is bringing its huge crowds, headline acts and unmistakable energy to Geelong/Djilang — creating a new regional home for one of the country’s fastest-growing music events at Kardinia Park Stadium & Precinct.

Ballarat will no longer host Spilt Milk with organisers announcing the popular festival will now be held in Geelong, leaving the council "disappointed".
The decision is a blow to the city's businesses, particularly accommodation, hospitality and transport operators, who have catered to about 40,000 patrons each year of the festival.
After four events at Victoria Park, the first in 2019, the regional touring festival will be held at the Kardinia Park Precinct in Geelong until 2030.
