CBS has released the official trailer for Survivor’s milestone 50th season, offering the first real look at how the previously announced “In the Hands of the Fans” theme will shape the game. The high-energy teaser (below), which aired during Wednesday night’s season 49 finale After Show, also confirms the return of two of the season’s biggest standouts: winner Savannah Louie and breakout strategist Rizo Velovic.

The trailer, which opens with Benjamin “Coach” Wade quoting Magellan, has a grand sense of Survivor history, and includes White Lotus creator and show alum Mike White among the cast. Multiple players discuss the series’ longevity and its impact on their lives. FIJI, — With a new sole survivor officially crowned for season 49, fans across the U.S. are already setting their sights on the monumental "Survivor" 50.

The first 22 names — a mix of old- and new-school players — on the "Survivor" 50 cast were announced back in May, with the final two spots going to mystery castaways from season 49.

And during Wednesday night's finale, we found out who those two players were.

'Survivor' finale will be interrupted by President Trump speech

President Donald Trump's primetime address to the nation on Wednesday, Dec. 17 will interrupt regularly scheduled TV programming, including the "Survivor" Season 49 finale.

Trump announced the 9 p.m. ET speech in a post on Truth Social. He did not specify what he will be discussing or how long the address is expected to last.

"I look forward to 'seeing' you then. It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!" Trump said.

As a result, major television networks are slated to carry live coverage of Trump's speech. Typically, live special reports cut in on regularly scheduled programming.
