Entries open for 2026 NSW Tidy Towns awards
ENTRIES are now open for the 2026 Keep Australia Beautiful NSW Tidy Towns awards, with communities, councils, organisations, businesses and individuals encouraged to showcase their environmental achievements.
Since 1981, Keep Australia Beautiful NSW has recognised projects and initiatives that demonstrate environmental leadership, sustainability and strong community spirit across the state.
The long-running awards program celebrates efforts that help create cleaner, greener and more connected communities while promoting innovation and responsible environmental practices.
Upper Hunter MP Dave Layzell is encouraging communities across the electorate to take part.
“Entries are currently open for the 2026 Keep Australia Beautiful NSW Sustainable Cities and Tidy Towns Awards,” Mr Layzell said.

Keep Australia Beautiful WA’s annual Tidy Towns Sustainable Communities Awards are now open for entries, inviting regional and remote communities of all sizes to showcase their achievements. Read the media statement.
With 10 award categories, communities can highlight the projects and initiatives that are making a positive environmental and community action. Each category comes with prize money and recognition, and the overall State Winner will go on to represent Western Australia in the Australian Tidy Towns Sustainability Awards.
Entries are open to projects that have been initiated, completed, or ongoing between July 2025 and June 2026.Early entries can win a community bench seat with artwork by Helen Ansell.
