    22-0! Brewers tie franchise record run tally in rout of Mariners

    MILWAUKEE – Jake Bauers scratched, clawed and crawled for the Brewers’ first run on Tuesday night. He smashed his shoulder in the process and dirtied his uniform. It was quintessential Brewers baseball.

    And it was absolutely nothing like the rest of the night.

    The Brewers matched their franchise record for runs scored in a 22-0 rout of the Mariners at American Family Field, scoring 21 of those runs over their final four, wild innings at-bat for a victory that pushed Milwaukee 30 games over .500 overall and 20 games over .500 at home.

    It tied for the most lopsided shutout win in Major League Baseball since 1888, when the Philadelphia Quakers won a 24-0 game on the road. Two teams had won 22-0 games in the years since – Pittsburgh in 1975 and Cleveland in 2004.

    Alex de Minaur's bid for a confidence-boosting title grab ahead of his looming Wimbledon campaign ended in heartbreak after slumping to   Kamil Majchrzak in the final of the ATP's Dutch grass-court event in s-Hertogenbosch.

    The Australian No.1 had opted to use the tournament in s-Hertogenbosch to rebuild his shattered confidence after his French Open setback when bowing to out Jakub Mensik in the third round last month.

    Majchrzak upsets Medvedev to reach first ATP final

    Majchrzak had already beaten No.1 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-finals and followed that up with a 7-6 (7-4) 6-1 victory in 89 minutes over the Russian former world No.1.

    Medvedev was playing his second match of the day, having battled past Marin Cilic 6-2 3-6 6-1, with his double-header eventually taking its toll.

    The pair was evenly matched in the opening stages, but Medvedev had to hold off a break that would have secured Majchrzak the first set in the 10th game.

    The Pole got an important hold himself in the following game and then eventually converted his third set point to take the lead.

    The tie-up, launched earlier this month, allows fashionistas to get their hands on a range of Guinness wear that exploits the continuing metamorphosis of the “black stuff” from unfashionable pub staple to social media status symbol.

    Little Simz and Joe Alwyn front JW Anderson’s new Guinness collection

    With St Patrick’s Day just around the corner, JW Anderson revisits its sell-out collaboration with Guinness for a second season, accompanied by a campaign fronted by friends of the house, actor Joe Alwyn and musician Little Simz.

    Expanding from the original four-piece drop to a seventeen-piece offering, Anderson continues to draw from vintage brewery uniforms, classic Irish pub interiors and archival graphics, translating these references into denim workwear, chore jackets, dungarees and signature twisted jeans, alongside towelling sets and knitwear. A crisp white shirt, for instance, features a poem first printed in a 1938 Guinness advertisement, while bespoke towelling reinterprets the brand’s iconic beer mat. Elsewhere, a gradient alpaca-blend jumper mirrors the colour shift of a perfectly poured pint.

    Amy Shark has written songs with some of the biggest names in the biz — Ed Sheeran, Jack Antonoff, and each of the Blink-182 guys, to name just a few — but for her fourth studio album, she decided she’d fly totally solo.

    The singer and Australian Idol judge announced this morning that she’ll be releasing a new album, titled Soft Pop, in July — and also released its lead single, “The Biggest Dick”, that she’s been teasing on social media in the past few weeks.

    Shark has been teasing The Biggest Dick on social media, encouraging fans to try and guess the title and sharing snippets of the track.

    Described as “the ultimate breakup song,” the confident earworm showcases the singer’s vulnerable side, as well as unveiling the empowering nature of picking yourself back up after a relationship ends.

    Amy Shark New Song and Soft Pop: Solo Writing vs Collaborative Past

    The amy shark new song “The Biggest Dick” and the full album Soft Pop arrive as one creative statement written largely alone. This piece compares Shark’s solo, apartment-led process for Soft Pop with the multi-writer, multi-studio approach she used on earlier records. The question: does stripping collaboration away produce a narrower, more focused record or simply a different sound?

    For Soft Pop, Amy Shark retreated to her apartment and wrote alone for a month, crafting a smaller pool of songs. She completed 15 tracks and ultimately took 11 to the recording studio. She imposed disciplined guidelines — no beats, no old sounds, different guitar and mic tuning — and worked with a single producer, Dann Hume, in a Wales studio. These concrete choices targeted a distinct sonic identity.
