Latrell Mitchell delighted the NRL world after ending his self-imposed media ban by speaking to reporters for the first time in 18 months on Tuesday. And it's understood a discussion with Wayne Bennett was behind the major backflip, after the veteran coach convinced Mitchell that now was the perfect time to present himself to the press again.
Mitchell has been the standout centre over the first nine rounds of the competition, and is in close to career-best form for the high-flying Rabbitohs.
