Wichita toddler reunited with mother after being abducted by father, father’s family reacts
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A 2-year-old girl was found safe and reunited with her mother after being abducted by her father, 21-year-old Saul Gonzales-Diaz, on Sunday morning.
Wichita police believed the child was in imminent danger, as the KBI said Gonzales-Diaz allegedly beat the child’s mother in a domestic violence incident before taking the child.

Police shared how they found the child, explaining that different methods were used including Flock cameras and phone location data to track the man’s movement.
Police also said family members cooperated to give officers access to the home. Inside, they found the 2-year-old girl and the suspect safe. The girl was seen being carried into an ambulance, where she was evaluated before being reunited with her mother.
