Rookie Lendeborg jaws at ‘weak ass’ Dončić and admits he didn’t watch much NBA
Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg had an extraordinary NBA debut as he jawed with Luka DonÄiÄ and admitted he had largely been exposed to the league through highlights before turning professional.
Lendeborg was given the task of guarding the Los Angeles Lakers star for large parts of Wednesdayâs game, which DonÄiÄâs team won 127-105.
However, Lendeborg said he âlost all respectâ for DonÄiÄâs quest for foul calls during the game.
âI had a lot of respect for him [because] I didnât really watch the NBA much,â Lendeborg said. âI just watched highlights and seen him kill people. But being in it firsthand and seeing all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect.â
