NFL writer Steven Ruiz is leaving The Ringer for Fox Sports digital, sources told Front Office Sports.
Ruiz, who joined The Ringer from USA Today’s For the Win blog in 2021, announced Friday that he was leaving the Spotify-owned outlet that was founded by Bill Simmons.
“Sad day for me. She was my editor for all 5 years and my manager for the last few. Just an endlessly talented editor and an even better person. The prospect of not working with Meg is the hardest part about leaving.”
