Isaac is a Fish Clan member of Serpent River First Nation, a gifted artist, musician, storyteller, environmentalist, activist and ceremonial conductor, but these words don’t really capture the entity that is Isaac Murdoch.
Trump criticises Supreme Court after justices block mail-in ballot restrictions
The US Supreme Court has rejected President Donald Trump's plan to restrict voting by mail before November's midterm elections, in a setback for the White House.
The justices upheld a federal judge's order that temporarily blocked the US Postal Service (USPS) from moving forwards with new requirements for postal ballots.
Trump called the decision a blow to his political party. "Republicans just got another bad decision from the United States Supreme Court," the president wrote on Truth Social.
One legal group said in response that the decision would prevent the USPS from "sowing chaos in our elections".
The ruling is unlikely to be the final word on the matter. Justice Brett Kavanaugh, a conservative, agreed with the ruling, but indicated he might later rule in Trump's favour as litigation in the case continues.

‘Not the people I interviewed’: Trump lashes Supreme Court after election ruling
Washington: Donald Trump has launched an extraordinary attack on the US Supreme Court, complaining that the justices he appointed in his first term had failed him, after the court rejected his attempt to curb mail-in voting at the upcoming midterm elections.
The conservative-majority bench on Monday (US time) struck down the Trump administration’s bid to require states to submit lists of voters’ names and addresses to the US Postal Service to receive mail-in ballots. Usually, the USPS – an independent agency of the federal government – plays no such role.
In a one-paragraph emergency ruling, the justices denied the administration’s request to stay a lower court’s decision, saying the government was “unlikely to succeed on the merits of its legal challenge”. Two conservative justices, Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, dissented.
