The 2026 Met Gala is finally upon us, taking over the steps of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 4. Of course, the event takes place on the first Monday in May every single year, which means for Australians, the red carpet livestream will start rolling from early on Tuesday morning. This year, the theme is ‘Costume Art’, with the dress code is ‘Fashion As Art’,
Of course, our biggest question right now is who will be on the red carpet and which designers they’ll be wearing. Thankfully, we actually have a fair idea this year on who will be in attendance, thanks to the list of co-chairs, which includes Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams, as well as the 27-person host committee, which includes the committee co-chairs Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz. Everyone on the committee is likely to attend.
