Former NRL player Jamil Hopoate has allegedly been arrested following an incident on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Hopoate, 31, was reportedly arrested after allegedly crashing into a parked car, with reports also claiming he returned a positive roadside breath test.
The former forward's alleged arrest comes after a troubled playing career which included stints with both the Parramatta Eels and Manly Sea Eagles before he eventually made his NRL debut with the Brisbane Broncos.
Hopoate joined Parramatta's junior system as a teenager and made his Toyota Cup debut for the Eels in 2012, but his time at the club was cut short after Parramatta terminated his contract over behavioural issues at a rookie camp.
