AACTA ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS FOR THE 2026 AACTA AWARDS INDUSTRY GALA
Winners for the 2026 AACTA Awards Industry Gala were announced tonight with Bring Her Back, The Narrow Road to the Deep North and Lesbian Space Princess emerging as the night’s biggest winners.
The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) proudly announced the full list of winners at the Industry Gala, which marked the opening night of the 2026 AACTA Festival.
Hosted by comedian Ed Kavalee, the ceremony saw Australia’s screen industry come together at HOTA, Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast for an evening of celebration. Celia Pacquola, Costa Georgiadis, Claire Hooper, Mekonnen Knife, Chris Alosio, Joel Jackson, Shane Jacobson and Brenton Thwaites were among the presenters as the industry came together to recognise the craft behind Australia’s screen industry. Guests were also treated to an incredible performance by Gemma Chua-Tran singing the AACTA Award-winning song from the fan-favourite film Lesbian Space Princess.
