Why? For the most serious reason of all: to protest against Sonyâs decision to stop producing physical copies of PlayStation games in 2028.

Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy says he will support any decision Cameron Munster makes on his future in the NRL.

On Wednesday Munster said he would reject the PNG Chiefs if Bellamy was coach of the Storm in 2028.

Melbourne hosts Canterbury-Bankstown on Friday night, needing a win to keep their finals hopes alive.

A part of Craig Bellamy would love it if he and Cameron Munster could bow out of Melbourne together.

But as the pair consider their NRL futures, Bellamy remains committed to supporting Munster whether or not he signs with expansion franchise PNG.

Storm coach Craig Bellamy has responded to superstar playmaker Cameron Munster who said he would remain at the club as long as the legendary boss was still there.

It comes on the back of Bellamy giving his champion five-eighth permission to negotiate with the Chiefs who recently added Zac Lomax to their impressive roster for when they enter the NRL competition in 2028.

Munster was meant to travel to PNG along with Lomax last weekend, but he felt it wasn’t the right time given his current injury as well as Melbourne’s struggles that will likely mean they will miss the finals for the first time since 2010.

After saving New York City in “Brand New Day,” Tom Holland‘s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man looks like he’s heading off-world once again. The post-credits scene in the latest Sony and Marvel movie revealed that the hero will return to the MCU and seems to be leaving Earth in his next appearance.

First, like many fans have theorized for months, Sadie Sink is playing X-Men member Jean Grey in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” She’s the primary antagonist in the movie, though it’s later revealed that the Department of Damage Control kidnapped and killed her older sister Sara. Once he realizes the cause of Jean’s Damage Control crusade, Spider-Man convinces her to release the psychic bubble she creates that freezes nearly every New Yorker at the end of the movie. He also saves her from getting shot by Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and gets hit by the sniper rifle bullet himself. At the end of the movie, Spidey recuperates, and Jean heads out of town (and possibly to Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters upstate).

Bulldogs fans are questioning the club's decision to dump Sean O'Sullivan back to the bench to accommodate the return of Stephen Crichton. On Tuesday, coach Cameron Ciraldo named Crichton at five-eighth to partner halfback Lachie Galvin for the Bulldogs' clash with the Warriors on Saturday.

O'Sullivan has been demoted to the bench despite performing well in the 32-0 victory over the Wests Tigers last weekend. O'Sullivan proved to be just what the doctor ordered amid a need for the Bulldogs to pick an organising half to allow Galvin to run.

While the war with Iran threatens to expand across the region, US officials have privately cautioned that resuming major combat operations would ‌carry significant risk, given America's dwindling munition stocks.

Baghdad: The US military launched strikes on Iranian targets, hours after President Donald Trump warned that a retaliatory attack was imminent after Iran launched a barrage of missiles toward American forces in the Middle East.

US Central Command announced the strikes – which began at 10am on Thursday (AEST) – on social media and said they were “a powerful response to yesterday’s attempted Iranian attack”.

“We’re going to be hitting them very hard, because it’s our turn to hit ’em. They know it’s coming, they’re asking us not to do it,” Trump had told reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday afternoon (US time).

Kawamura research focus is on the history of war, peace, and diplomacy in the Pacific World. This is far from a new issue. The Financial Review highlighted it almost a decade ago in “Angus Raine calls for stamp duty break to encourage empty-nesters to downsize”. Then, I argued that stamp duty relief for downsizers aged over 70 would encourage housing turnover and improve affordability. Nearly a decade later, the case is even stronger.

Sydney eastern suburbs retiree Michael Grant and his wife live in a five-bedroom house worth about $3 million. They would downsize their living but for one big problem: a $150,000 stamp duty bill.

“Assuming that we stay in a similar area, even if we move to a two or three-bedroom apartment, it’s going to cost a similar amount to what we will get for our house,” said the recently retired software worker.

Should we bribe the NIMBYs?

Everyone hates luxury development. But we need fancy new apartment buildings to fix the housing crisis: When rich people can move into new units, then non-rich people can move into the older homes that the rich move out of.1

Despite the truth of this, voters just do not believe that more building alone will make housing more affordable. And many politicians want the least fortunate Americans to see more obvious benefits from homebuilding.

One solution is to force developers of fancy new apartment buildings to set aside some of those homes for low- or moderate-income people. This policy is called inclusionary zoning.

Alex de Minaur has knocked rising teenage Aussie star Cruz Hewitt out of the Washington Open in the second round.

The 27-year-old went up against the 17-year-old son of tennis legend Lleyton on Friday morning and was victorious 6-2, 6-3 to reach the third round.

The pair have been close for Hewitt’s entire life given Lleyton has worked closely with de Minaur and mentored him throughout his career.

“We’re going to play (each other) for the next 10 years of our lives,” de Minaur said to Hewitt after their match.

Defending champ de Minaur beats Hewitt in first of ‘many battles to come’

Cruz Hewitt was gasping for air with a towel over his head 15 minutes into his first official clash with Alex de Minaur in Washington on Friday.

The scoreboard was sobering for the 17-year-old rising star: 5-0 to de Minaur, his friend and regular guest at the dinner table for Christmas. Hewitt had won only six points, while nervously spraying almost double as many errors.
