"He's changed for the better": Justin Combs asks the judge to give Sean Combs a second chance

On December 3, 2025, Sean “Diddy” Combs appeared in a Manhattan federal courtroom for sentencing after being convicted in July 2025 on two counts of violating the Mann Act—transporting individuals across state lines for the purpose of prostitution.

Although he was acquitted of the more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex-trafficking charges, the jury found that Combs had arranged interstate travel specifically so women could participate in what prosecutors described as drug-fueled, multi-day sexual performances known as “freak-offs.”

Each Mann Act count carries a maximum penalty of 10 years, meaning Combs faces up to 20 years in prison. The case gained worldwide attention after a 2016 hotel surveillance video surfaced showing Combs physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, even though Combs has consistently maintained that all sexual encounters were consensual.

India Vs South Africa, 1st ODI: Jaiswal Out, Rohit Survives, Kohli Edges First Ball – Relive Burger's Chaotic Over

India got off to a brisk start in the first ODI against South Africa at Ranchi, scoring nine runs in the opening over

Nandre Burger struck back in his second over, dismissing Jaiswal and putting early pressure on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma

Kohli and Rohit stabilized the innings, with Kohli hitting an early four and Rohit surviving a close catch

A rollercoaster of an over from Nandre Burger defined the early stages of the Indian innings in the first ODI against South Africa at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi, on Sunday (November 30, 2025).

Asked to bat first by the Proteas, India benefitted from Marco Jansen's wayward bowling. The tall left-arm pacer was the wrecker-in-chief in the preceding Test series, which the visitors won 2-0.

Bro Is Playing Test Cricket: Netizens Slam Yashasvi Jaiswal After Getting Out Cheaply During IND vs SA 2nd

The second ODI between India and South Africa in Raipur turned into an unexpectedly frustrating outing for young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, who found himself targeted by netizens after a sluggish knock of 22 from 38 balls. With regular opener Shubman Gill unavailable for the match, the stage was wide open for Jaiswal to step forward and cement his place at the top. Instead, he struggled to find rhythm on a surface that demanded patience but also punished indecision.

Fans expressed disappointment at what they felt was a missed golden opportunity. Many pointed out that Jaiswal, known for his fearless strokeplay, looked unusually tentative, failing to rotate strike and allowing pressure to mount.

IND Opener Big Weakness Exposed in 2nd ODI!

Yashasvi Jaiswal was once seen as the unlucky player who never got a proper chance in the ODI team. Fans believed he deserved more time in the middle. Now that he finally has it, his form is slipping, and the second ODI against South Africa exposed a few concerns.

Jaiswal fell to a pull shot off Marco Jansen after getting set. Out of 38 balls, 29 were dots, giving him a dot ball percentage of 76.3 percent. Since the 2023 World Cup, this is the second highest among openers from full member Test nations who have faced at least 35 balls.

A clear trend is emerging. In his last six ODI innings, Jaiswal has been bowled by left arm pacers five times, and Jansen alone has dismissed him four times. His struggles against this angle now stand out more than ever.

The Running Man Worldwide Box Office – Nears The Global Total Of Meg Ryan & Russell Crowe’s Early 2000s Action Thriller

The dystopian action thriller The Running Man, the second adaptation of Stephen King’s 1982 novel, is now in its third week in theaters. With a current global haul of $60.5 million, the Edgar Wright-directed feature has yet to enter 2025’s top 50 highest-grossing titles (as per Box Office Mojo). To reach that milestone, it must surpass the worldwide total of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2025 re-release), which stands at $61.8 million – a target it’s expected to hit in the coming days.

After crossing the $60 million mark, the Glen Powell-led film is also closing in on the global earnings of another 2025 dystopian thriller based on a Stephen King novel, The Long Walk, which has accumulated $63.1 million worldwide. This means The Running Man needs around $2.6 million more to overtake it. Before reaching that benchmark, the film is also on track to surpass the global total of an early-2000s action thriller starring Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe. We’re talking about the 2000 film Proof of Life. Here’s how much more The Running Man needs to earn to outperform that title at the worldwide box office.

    Drill Baby Drill

Looks like I missed Edgar Wright’s remake of The Running Man, already out of most theaters and dropping precipitously at the box office (I don’t care about the money, just who’s seeing what and when; I had no idea Zootopia was popular enough to dethrone Wicked in its second weekend. And I think about this.) The Running Man was already a hit in 1987 starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, directed by Paul Michael Glaser from one of Stephen King’s Richard Bachman novels. It’s a good premise: in a dystopian future similar to Death Race 2000, the most popular program on television is trained assassins (“stalkers”) hunting down the accused and the convicted (“runners”). You take the world of John Carpenter’s They Live, push it up 100 years, and you get something like The Running Man. You can see it in most of Paul Verhoeven’s work, just on the tip of the horizon. Hey, I’d buy that for a dollar.

Stephen King give high praise to the upcoming film

Stephen King, the original author of The Running Man, has given high praise to the upcoming film adaptation.

The Running Man follows the story of Ben Richards (played by Glen Powell), an unemployed family man who enters a global survival program where he must endure 30 days of being hunted by brutal pursuers in exchange for a massive cash prize. Attention is now focused on the special points of praise that Stephen King, author of the original novel, personally shared.

After watching the film, King remarked, “It’s fantastic. It feels like a modern-day Die Hard—a thrilling ride!” raising expectations for the new adaptation. In a conversation with director Edgar Wright, he continued, “I’m very satisfied with the film. Everything fits together very naturally,” and added, “This movie has a sparkle reminiscent of Die Hard,” expressing strong confidence in the project.

Romance fiction has surged in popularity recently, thanks in part to dedicated BookTok and Instagram communities, and several subgenres have emerged – gone is the tame bodice ripping of your grandma’s Mills & Boon novels. Now it’s romantasy, paranormal romance, dystopian love and, perhaps the fastest-growing of them all, sports romance. And then there’s a sub-subgenre: queer sports romance.

To get even more specific, one sport above others has been the setting: the uber-macho world of ice hockey.

The wait is over. It’s time to look back at the audio that defined your year with 2025 Spotify Wrapped, our annual celebration for fans, artists, creators, and authors around the world. Spotify introduced the Wrapped concept as it’s known today in 2015, and each year we’ve continued to iterate on how we bring it to life based on what our global audience tells us is most meaningful to them.

For 2025, the experience is more captivating, layered, and revealing than ever before. We’re going bigger and bolder, bringing back a few Wrapped favorites, adding in stories that users have been asking for, and introducing interactive ways to connect with and share the sounds that made your year unmistakably yours.

Spotify Wrapped is here! How to find yours and what's new in 2025

NEW YORK — The holidays are almost here and Spotify has an early gift for users to unwrap.

Spotify Wrapped, the streamer's year-in-review report, arrived Dec. 3, with plenty of new bells and whistles. Offering users an intimate look at their own listening habits, the release of Wrapped has become a cult phenomenon, as people rush to share their stats on social media and wince at the song they replayed a few too many times.

This year's report includes new functions including Listening Age, which tells users how old their music tastes make them (warning: if you're a Springsteen fan, it may tack on 10 years); and Clubs, which sorts listeners into groups based on their tastes.

A raccoon went on a drunken rampage in a Virginia liquor store and passed out on the bathroom floor

“After a few hours of sleep and zero signs of injury (other than maybe a hangover and poor life choices), he was safely released back to the wild,” the local animal control office said.

ASHLAND, Va. — The masked burglar broke into the closed Virginia liquor store early on Saturday and hit the bottom shelf, where the scotch and whisky were stored. The bandit was something of a nocturnal menace: bottles were smashed, a ceiling tile collapsed and alcohol pooled on the floor.

The suspect acted like an animal because, in fact, he’s a raccoon.

On Saturday morning, an employee at the Ashland, Virginia-area liquor store found the trash panda passed out on the bathroom floor at the end of his drunken escapade.

Zoo Announces Sudden Death of 'Beloved' Animal

Grey’s Anatomy and Euphoria star Eric Dane has revealed he plans to keep acting after his diagnosis with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Dane, 53, appeared in an episode of NBC drama Brilliant Minds, his first on-screen role since announcing his diagnosis in April. His character was a firefighter struggling to share his ALS diagnosis with his wife. On Tuesday, Dane was a guest on a virtual panel hosted by the I AM ALS organization. “I’m fairly limited in what I can do physically as an actor, but I still have my brain, and I still have my speech, so I’m willing to just do about anything. I’ll take on any role,” Dane said. However, he said the neurodegenerative disease will limit his choices. “From here on out, it’s going to have to be ALS-centric. It’s going to be very difficult for me to play any other role. I’m fine with that. I’m grateful that I can still work in any capacity.” Dane said he had surprised himself with how well he was dealing with ALS. “I don’t think anybody would blame me if I went upstairs in my bedroom, crawled under the sheets, and spent the next two weeks crying,” he said. “And I was a little bit pleasantly surprised when I realized that I wasn’t built like that, because I thought, for sure, that was gonna be me.” The actor said he was keen to inspire other people, noting, “It’s imperative that I share my journey with as many people as I can because I don’t feel like my life is about me anymore.” There is currently no cure for ALS, which causes progressive degeneration of nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain.

IND vs SA Live score 2nd ODI Updates: SA (201/3 in 32 ov), Harshit Rana removes Markram as India hit back

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the 2nd ODI between India and South Africa from Raipur.

South Africa move past 200 as Matthew Breetzke and Dewald Brevis stitch together a steadying stand after Aiden Markram’s wicket. The chase of 359 is still alive, and the duo is keeping things tidy.

But for India, the message is clear — they need breakthroughs, and they need them quickly.

Live score: South Africa (201/3 in 32 ovs), chasing 359 vs India in Raipur. Bretzkee (25*), Brevis (2*)

Markram was seen doing some stretches here. Maybe the muscles might be getting tight, and he is aware that he needs to stick around for a big knock if India were to have a chance. Harshit Rana hits the deck, and Breetzke picks it up and hits it towards fine leg here for the boundary. Rana was not pleased with Arshdeep Singh's placement. Maybe he could have had a better effort in getting behind that. Shaun Pollock on comms mentions how the ball might be tailing into the right hander here and the fine-leg needs to be a bit further behind in that case.

Spotify expected to increase US subscription prices in early 2026

The planned price hike is part of the company's attempts to demonstrate sustained profitability

The hike will seemingly come into effect during first quarter of the new year, with The Financial Times reporting that the move was being made in order to demonstrate sustained profitability within the company.

It's not yet known exactly how much the price will rise in the US, but it will follow similar recent increases in the UK, Australia and Switzerland. A US Spotify Premium subscription currently costs $11.99 per month. The last price increase in the territory came in July 2024.

The company signalled further price increases when it rolled out its new direct messaging feature in August of this year.

Get Ready for Another Spotify Price Hike

Our team tests, rates, and reviews more than 1,500 products each year to help you make better buying decisions and get more from technology.

Spotify users may be hit with price hikes early next year, the Financial Times reports, citing three people familiar with the matter.

The streaming platform last raised the price of its Premium subscription in June 2024, going from $10.99 a month to $11.99. Since then, it has added a number of features, including AI playlist prompts, messaging capabilities, and lossless audio.

Rumors about adding lossless audio had been circulating for years, with some even expecting a special paid tier for it. But when the feature finally arrived in September, it was included at no extra cost for Premium subscribers. Soon after, however, Spotify raised subscription prices in several countries, including the UK, Australia, and Switzerland.
