Saygid Izagakhmaev will welcome Abubakar Vagaev inside the octagon, as they are set to collide at the UFC Abu Dhabi card on Saturday inside the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, UAE.

Despite his experience competing in the promotion and a higher finish rate, Izagakhmaev heads into the match as the betting underdog with +200 UFC odds, while Vagaev, who’s making his debut, will be the -250 betting underdog.

My prediction is a decision win for Izagakhmaev over Vagaev, as he’s the slightly better striker and has more power in his strikes. Both are incredibly elite grapplers, but I think they’ll just neutralize each other’s skills in this department.

Heavyweight Tyrell Fortune made a memorable UFC debut earlier this year, defeating ranked Polish standout Marcin Tybura (the scores were originally read in favor of Tybura, with Fortune being brought back into the cage for the correction).

At UFC Abu Dhabi on Saturday, he had his second assignment against ex-Eagle FC champ and PFL heavyweight Rizvan Kuniev, ranked one spot ahead of Fortune at #8.

The news comes after eight years of producing the show together, one of the original slate when Apple TV’s streaming first launched in 2019, leaving the pair in tears as they filmed their last scenes together.

‘The Morning Show’ to End With Season 5

The hit Apple drama starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon returns with its final season in 2027. "We were so fortunate to craft the conclusion with intentionality, and honor these characters the way they deserve," says Aniston.

The already renewed fifth season will be the last for the hit Emmy-winning series when it returns in 2027, Apple announced on Thursday. The media drama starring and executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston was renewed back in September 2025, just hours before season four premiered.

Now months later, the star-studded creative team is revealing that they went into making season five knowing it would be the end of the show. The season five release date will be announced at a later date.

Morning Wars confirms final season

Morning Wars (or as it is termed elsewhere, The Morning Show) will return for a fifth and final season in 2027 on Apple TV.

Observatory says Noul has intensified and is forecast to come within 100km of Hong Kong on Sunday morning

The Hong Kong Observatory will issue the No 8 typhoon signal at 10.10pm on Saturday as Typhoon Noul barrels towards the region, with more than 380 flights cancelled and winds associated with the storm causing a scaffolding collapse.

The forecaster said that Noul had intensified and was forecast to come within 100km (62 miles) of the city on Sunday morning, with rain and strong winds associated with the storm already affecting the city.

It said it would issue the No 8 signal at 10.10pm, while a “Pre-No 8 Special Announcement” would be sent out two hours beforehand.

China evacuates 20,000 people as Typhoon Noul nears

Authorities have evacuated more than 20,000 people and suspended rail services as Typhoon Noul approaches southern China, with flight cancellations announced in the financial hub of Hong Kong.

The typhoon is forecast to make landfall in the coastal area stretching from Hong Kong to Guangdong province between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, China's National Meteorological Center said.

The Chinese weather forecaster maintained an orange typhoon alert on Saturday, the second-highest level in its four-tier system.

Parts of Guangdong and neighbouring Hunan and Jiangxi provinces are set to receive heavy rainfall from Saturday to Monday, it said.

When the typhoon makes landfall, it is forecast to have maximum sustained winds of 126-151 kilometres per hour (78-94 miles per hour).

When Cameron McEvoy travelled to Glasgow in 2014, he was a 19-year-old "kid".

Twelve years later, he returns to the site of his Commonwealth Games debut as a completely different man with a completely different outlook on a sport that is almost unrecognisable.

McEvoy emerged as part of the ill-fated batch of sprint stars at the 2012 Olympics — the so-called "weapons of mass destruction" who returned from London without a gold medal from any male swimmer.

Two years later, McEvoy won six medals, including two relay golds, at the Commonwealth Games despite still trying to find his place in the squad.
