Elizabeth Hurley is reportedly facing an emotional balancing act as her relationship with boyfriend Billy Ray Cyrus coincides with growing distance from her son, Damian Hurley, according to sources. Insiders claim the actress has been stretched thin as she tries to maintain harmony between the two most important men in her life.

“Liz keeps saying this is just a rough patch, that these are growing pains and they’ll get through it,” a source says. “But everyone can see how stressful this is for her.” Hurley, 59, has long shared an exceptionally close relationship with Damian, 23, whom she welcomed in 2002 following a brief relationship with the late producer Steve Bing. Friends say Damian was her constant companion for years, often accompanying her to events and trips. That dynamic, insiders suggest, has shifted since Hurley’s romance with Cyrus intensified.

Elizabeth Hurley Caught Between Son Damian and Partner Billy Ray Cyrus Dispute

Elizabeth Hurley finds herself navigating a challenging situation involving her son, Damian Hurley, and her partner, Billy Ray Cyrus. Recent reports suggest that the dynamics among the trio have become increasingly strained.

According to sources, Elizabeth’s 23-year-old son, Damian, is feeling sidelined by her high-profile romance with the country star. Damian Hurley, known for his work as an actor and model, is adjusting to significant changes since the death of his father, Steve Bing, in June 2020.

Steve Bing, a businessman and film producer, died by suicide at the age of 55. Following this tragedy, Damian became the focal point of Elizabeth’s life. Their strong bond was built on spending extensive time together, making it difficult for him to adapt to the presence of Billy Ray in their lives.

Alex de Minaur insists the world's top tennis players' push for a bigger slice of the Australian Open revenue pie is about growing the sport, as well as greater compensation.

Tennis Australia raised prize money to $111.5 million for the current tournament, larger than last year's French Open and Wimbledon purses, but less than the US Open.

The monster pot includes a record $4.2 million pay day for the men's and women's singles champions.

Stars up the pressure in push for a bigger cut of profits

Top-ranked tennis stars at the Australian Open have backed a push for grand slams to overhaul how they set the prize pool and make it a larger fixed percentage of revenue so players get a bigger share of the rising profits from the increasingly commercialised events.

The amount of money players receive from major international tennis tournaments is emerging as a key off-court issue at the season’s first grand slam, as competitors say their compensation is out of step with other major international sports.

Don Lemon says Nicki Minaj should 'get a life' after she calls for his arrest

Don Lemon criticized Nicki Minaj after she called for his arrest over covering an anti-ICE protest at a Minnesota church.

In a post on X, Minaj called Lemon "disgusting" and referred to him with an anti-gay slur after the former CNN anchor livestreamed an anti-ICE protest at a church in St. Paul, Minnesota on Jan. 18. A group of protesters interrupted a service over claims that one of the church's pastors works for ICE.

"How dare you? I want that thug in jail!" Minaj wrote in all-caps on X on Jan. 19. "He would never do that to any other religion. Lock him up!"

Don Lemon Fires Back at Nicki Minaj’s Homophobic Post: ‘Sit the F-ck Down’

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon had time to address Nicki Minaj‘s homophobic social media post about his coverage of the anti-ICE protests in Minnesota.

“People have been asking about responding to Nicki Minaj’s unhinged, homophobic tweet about me,” he began in his Instagram video posted on Monday (Jan. 19). “I usually don’t respond to this stuff, but let me just say this. Nicki Minaj, stop talking about sh-t which you know nothing about. This is out of your depth, by the way. And you are a homophobic bigot…She doesn’t understand politics. She doesn’t understand journalism. And I’m not surprised that she is weighing in on something that is beyond her capacity.”

Coalition on brink as Nationals quit shadow ministry

The Nationals caused problems for the Coalition by resolving to vote against the government's hate laws, in a break of shadow cabinet solidarity. (ABC News: Matt Roberts)

Every Nationals member of the Coalition shadow ministry has quit their position in solidarity with three colleagues dumped for crossing the floor on hate laws.

Opposition leader Sussan Ley says the resignation offers are "unnecessary" and she is giving the Nationals time to reconsider.

Nationals sources say a Coalition split is likely, but Ms Ley is urging the rural party not to leave the agreement with the Liberals.

The coalition between the Liberals and Nationals has descended into ugly infighting after frontbenchers from the regional party tendered their mass resignations, only to be rebuffed by Opposition Leader Sussan Ley.

After three senior Nationals quit their portfolios because of a schism over hate crimes laws, the remaining frontbenchers from the party staged a mass walkout in solidarity.

At the Midwinter Ball in August, Sussan Ley was trying to be funny.

Off the record and among peers, the opposition leader spoke about the quiet grind of her early leadership battles. The Nationals came in for some ribbing.

“The PM has decided he can solve peace in the Middle East. If you need a hand negotiating with fundamentalists, I’m available. After all, I’m in coalition with the National Party,” she joked.

It landed as gallows humour. But it also hinted at a reality Ley now has to manage in full view: a Coalition that demands constant negotiation, and a relationship dominated not by harmony but by defiance.

Ishan Kishan will take the injured Tilak Varma's place in India's line-up in the first T20I against New Zealand on Wednesday. Confirming this in the captain's press conference in Nagpur, Suryakumar Yadav said India were playing Kishan ahead of Shreyas Iyer, the other candidate for the role, keeping preparations for the T20 World Cup in mind.

Kishan is part of India's squad for that tournament, which begins on February 7, as back-up wicketkeeper. Iyer, selected for the first three T20Is against New Zealand in Tilak's absence, is not.

'Still think I'm one of the best': Black Caps star quashes retirement talk

On the eve of another Twenty20 World Cup, Black Caps fast bowler Lockie Ferguson has no plans to make sure this year’s tournament in India is his last.

At 34, and having not played for the Black Caps at all in 2025 due to injury, Ferguson is now the same
age that Trent Boult was when he declared the last T20 World Cup was his final time wearing the black cap.

Like many of his teammates who have helped make this the most successful era of New Zealand cricket, Ferguson’s career now has more yesterdays than tomorrows.

As one of few bowlers in the world able to consistently hit 150km/h with the ball, Ferguson is a rare commodity for the Black Caps. In 43 T20s for his country, he’s taken 64 wickets at an average of just 17 – albeit with significant strain on his body in the decade since his first international.

Tuna recalled over botulism risk mistakenly shipped to stores in 9 states

WASHINGTON D.C., DC — Canned tuna that was recalled last year due to a risk of botulism was accidentally shipped to retailers in nine states, prompting a new recall, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Tri-Union Seafoods issued a voluntary recall in February 2025 of select canned tuna products because of a manufacturing defect that could compromise the product’s seal, potentially leading to contamination with Clostridium botulinum, a bacteria that causes botulism.

The FDA published a safety alert on Monday after a third-party distributor shipped quarantined cases of the canned tuna to a limited number of retailers.

Check Your Pantry: 'Potentially Fatal' Tuna Was Accidentally Shipped To Stores In 9 States

Previously recalled cans of tuna were mistakenly distributed to various retailers across nine states.

The affected products have a lid defect that could lead to contamination with bacteria that can be fatal if consumed.

Consumers should throw away the products or return them to their place of purchase for a refund.

Check those pantries, people. That can of tuna hiding in the corner might be one you definitely don't want to open. According to the FDA, a third-party distributor inadvertently shipped quarantined tuna that was previously recalled due to a defect—one that could potentially lead to Clostridium botulinum, a bacteria that can cause botulism, a "potentially fatal form of food poisoning."

If you bought canned tuna at these stores, throw it out immediately

Canned tuna sold in nine states has been recalled over concerns of potential contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Last February, Tri-Union Seafoods voluntarily initiated a recall due to a manufacturing defect on the “easy open” pull tab on certain canned products. The distribution company said in an announcement that over time, the defect may affect the product seal, causing leaks or contamination from the bacteria Clostridium botulinum.

Clostridium botulinum is the cause of botulism, a food poisoning disease that can be life-threatening, according to the statement.

Tri-Union Seafoods later discovered possible contamination in additional canned tuna cases that had been shipped to third-party retailers.

“I don’t want to use force. I won’t use force. All the US is asking for is a place called Greenland,” he said. “You can say yes, and we will be very appreciative. Or you can say no and we will remember.”

Global shares have fallen for a fourth day and some measures ‍of market stress remain high after a rout in global bonds and US threats to acquire Greenland kept investors on edge ahead of President Donald Trump's Davos speech.

Fears of foreign selling of US assets – the so-called "Sell America" trade that emerged after 2025's "Liberation Day" tariff announcements in April – gripped markets as Wall Street tumbled more than two per cent overnight and the US dollar suffered its biggest fall in over a month.

I can teach Pimblett some lessons – Gaethje

Paddy Pimblett has had seven fights in the UFC, while Justin Gaethje has had eight years competing in the MMA promotion

Justin Gaethje is confident he can "teach" Paddy Pimblett "some lessons" when the pair meet in the octagon on Saturday at UFC 324.

The lightweights will contest the interim title in Las Vegas, with the experienced 37-year-old Gaethje admitting he is the underdog.

Pimblett, 31, said he expects to finish Gaethje within three rounds and described the American as a "boxer with leg kicks".

"I hope he's overconfident in himself, just like I was when I was 30 years old, so I can teach him some lessons," Gaethje told BBC Sport.
