Spurs 127-113 Warriors (Apr 1, 2026) Game Recap

SAN FRANCISCO — — Victor Wembanyama scored 41 points for the second straight game, grabbed 18 rebounds and blocked three shots and the San Antonio Spurs ran away from the injury-plagued Golden State Warriors for a 127-113 victory Wednesday night that extended their winning streak to 10.

Wembanyama had 10 of his team's initial 14 points just 3:36 into the game and San Antonio jumped ahead 17-3. He finished 16 for 22 from the field in his fourth 40-point performance of the season. The Spurs (58-18) won for the 15th time in their last 16 contests as they chase the first-place and idle Thunder (60-16) in the race for the top seed in the Western Conference.

San Antonio vs Golden State, Final Score: Spurs hold off short-handed Warriors 127-113

Spur overcome lackadaisical third quarter with a solid fourth and put the Warriors away with a low drama victory

The Warriors were missing nine players and had to play a patchwork lineup of mostly undrafted players. They played with a lot of effort in a rough and tumble game and the Spurs didn’t play their cleanest game, but the talent difference was too much for the undermanned Golden State squad. The Spurs never quite turned the game into a blowout, but Wembanyama was transcendent with 41 points and 18 rebounds, and they kept the Warriors at arm’s length for the entire second half. Golden State could never cut the lead to single digits as San Antonio won 127-113

Spurs vs Warriors Prediction, Picks & Best Bets for Tonight’s NBA Game

There’s no joking around on “April Fools” when the San Antonio Spurs come to the Bay Area tonight to battle the Golden State Warriors… or what’s left of them.

My Spurs vs. Warriors predictions like Wemby to wipe the glass clean tonight against a thin Dubs frontcourt.

The Golden State Warriors limp to the finish line with injuries up and down the roster.

That includes holes in the frontcourt, with veteran center Al Horford and 7-footer Quinten Post out of action. Kristaps Porzingis and Draymond Green are all that stand between Victor Wembanyama and the rim. With those forwards primarily playing above the foul line, they aren’t contending for offensive rebounds, letting Wemby scoop up a surplus of misses from a Golden State offense that finished March ranked 23rd in effective field goal rate.

Historic Kiel furniture store closing after 127 years of family ownership

KIEL (WLUK) — C.J Meiselwitz in Kiel has been selling furniture for 127 years, but this December the family-owned business announced that it's closing up shop.

“My great grandfather started this furniture store in 1898, on this same location," said William Curry, who owns the furniture store along with his brother. They are the fourth generation of his family to run the business along Fremont Street.

“C.J. Mesielwitz, the founder, again 1898, ran it for about 35 years. Then his son, Henry Meiselwitz had the store for 35 years. After that my dad had the furniture store for 40 years and I’ve been here 50 years," he said.

Pistons 136-127 Kings (Dec 23, 2025) Game Recap

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — — Cade Cunningham had 23 points and 14 assists, Jalen Duren had 23 points and 12 rebounds, and the Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons beat the Sacramento Kings 136-127 on Tuesday night.

Tobias Harris scored 24 points for the Pistons, who have won nine of 11.

Duren's double-double was his fourth straight and 17th of the season. Ausar Thompson had 19 points for Detroit, and Isaiah Stewart added 16 points off the bench.

DeMar DeRozan scored 37 points and Russell Westbrook had 27 for the Kings, who have lost 10 of 12.

Westbrook had four assists to reach 10,140 for his career, one short of Magic Johnson for seventh in NBA history.

Pistons fire on all cylinders with second straight road win

On Dec. 26, 2024, Jaden Ivey's 4-point play with just three seconds left was the difference for the Detroit Pistons in a thrilling 114-113 victory against the Sacramento Kings, pushing their record to 14-17.

Now almost a year after that game, the Pistons again visited the Golden 1 Center, and defeated the Kings 136-127 on Tuesday night to improve to 24-6 and stay at the top of the Eastern Conference.

The Pistons are now 2-0 during this five-game West Coast road trip, and in many ways, Tuesday's game could be considered one of their best offensive performances in the early part of this season.

Pistons have best 30-game start in 20 years after 136-127 win at Kings

SACRAMENTO — A late Sacramento Kings run made the Detroit Pistons sweat, but they pulled off a road victory on Tuesday, Dec. 23.

The Pistons beat the Kings, 136-127, to improve to 24-6 this season. The Pistons led 121-100 after a Duncan Robinson 3-pointer with 11:08 remaining in the game. But a late 10-2 Kings run reduced their lead to 129-120, with 3:10 on the clock.

DeMar DeRozan (37 points, eight assists) cut it to nine again with a layup at the 1:37 mark, and Russell Westbrook (27 points) slashed it to eight with a split trip at the foul line with just under a minute left. But Ausar Thompson made a pair of free throws on the other end to push it back to double digits and give the Pistons enough cushion.
