Jalen Green (hamstring) questionable for Wednesday

Jalen Green (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. (NBA Injury Report)

Green has recently been back in the lineup for Phoenix after missing much of the season due to a hamstring injury. The team may let him sit out on Wednesday night, however, to manage his workload and prevent him from re-aggravating his injury. If that's the case, look for Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin to benefit from his absence.

Pistons 136-127 Kings (Dec 23, 2025) Game Recap

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — — Cade Cunningham had 23 points and 14 assists, Jalen Duren had 23 points and 12 rebounds, and the Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons beat the Sacramento Kings 136-127 on Tuesday night.

DeMar DeRozan scored 37 points and Russell Westbrook had 27 for the Kings, who have lost 10 of 12.

Westbrook had four assists to reach 10,140 for his career, one short of Magic Johnson for seventh in NBA history.

Pistons fire on all cylinders with second straight road win

On Dec. 26, 2024, Jaden Ivey's 4-point play with just three seconds left was the difference for the Detroit Pistons in a thrilling 114-113 victory against the Sacramento Kings, pushing their record to 14-17.

Now almost a year after that game, the Pistons again visited the Golden 1 Center, and defeated the Kings 136-127 on Tuesday night to improve to 24-6 and stay at the top of the Eastern Conference.

The Pistons are now 2-0 during this five-game West Coast road trip, and in many ways, Tuesday's game could be considered one of their best offensive performances in the early part of this season.

Pistons have best 30-game start in 20 years after 136-127 win at Kings

SACRAMENTO — A late Sacramento Kings run made the Detroit Pistons sweat, but they pulled off a road victory on Tuesday, Dec. 23.

The Pistons beat the Kings, 136-127, to improve to 24-6 this season. The Pistons led 121-100 after a Duncan Robinson 3-pointer with 11:08 remaining in the game. But a late 10-2 Kings run reduced their lead to 129-120, with 3:10 on the clock.

DeMar DeRozan (37 points, eight assists) cut it to nine again with a layup at the 1:37 mark, and Russell Westbrook (27 points) slashed it to eight with a split trip at the foul line with just under a minute left. But Ausar Thompson made a pair of free throws on the other end to push it back to double digits and give the Pistons enough cushion.
