BigBang are preparing to honour two decades at the top of K‑pop with a landmark celebration in Seoul.

The anniversary festivities begin on Aug 19, when Coupang Play hosts a free fan event titled Coupang Play X BigBang 20th Anniversary X Han River Collaboration at Yeouido Han River Park's Water Light Stage.

The one‑night celebration promises an immersive tribute to the group's legacy. Fans will be treated to a DJ set reimagining the group's biggest hits, alongside a career‑spanning visual retrospective charting their rise from trainees to global icons.

Organisers say the event is designed to let audiences "step inside" BigBang's musical universe, with a focus on dynamic staging and large‑scale visual storytelling.

BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR

K-pop legends BIGBANG will bring their highly anticipated BIGBANG 2026–2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > to Sydney for an Australian-exclusive concert at Accor Stadium on Saturday 31 October 2026, celebrating the group's 20th anniversary.

The Sydney performance, presented in partnership with Destination NSW, will be the only Australian date on the world tour and marks BIGBANG's first tour since 2017.

GEELONG captain Patrick Dangerfield will play on next year, extending his decorated career into a 20th AFL season.

Dangerfield has signed a one-year contract extension which will put him in sight of reaching the 400-game milestone.

"It's exciting for us all to have Pat playing for the Cats in 2027," Geelong's football boss Andrew Mackie said on Friday.

"He continues to lead from the front and remains an important player and person within our football program.

Geelong Cats captain Patrick Dangerfield will play into a 20th AFL season having re-signed with the Club for 2027.

Since joining Geelong from Adelaide at the end of 2015, Dangerfield has played 374 AFL games, including 220 games in the Hoops across his 12 seasons at the Cats.

Captain of the Club since 2023, on Friday night Dangerfield will play his 375th AFL game, drawing level with Craig Bradley in 11th position on the all-time VFL/AFL games played list.

Renowned as one of the best and most damaging midfielders across his career, Dangerfield has spent more time as a forward since 2025, kicking 48 goals since the start of last season.

Geelong and Patrick Dangerfield have agreed to a contract for 2027, confirming that the Cats’ superstar veteran will play on into his 20th AFL season.

The Cats and their skipper have reached agreement on terms for a one-year deal for 2027, meaning Dangerfield will play on as he wished and push towards the 400-game mark, according to industry sources familiar with Dangerfield’s deal, speaking anonymously to discuss player contracts.

Dangerfield, who was drafted by the Adelaide Crows in 2007, will suit up for his 12th season at Geelong, an astonishing return for a player and club who joined forces for the 2016 season and helped arrest a potential slide for the Cats.

Over the years Miley Cyrus has spoken highly of how her parents Billy and Tish took care of her during her Hannah Montana years. “My dad was on set every single day,” Cyrus told Variety. “So there was nothing that could happen that he wouldn’t know about.” She added that her parents also financially protected her, something not every child star can say. “My parents didn’t need me to be famous to survive or to be stable,” she said. “What happens to a lot of these kids is their parents want it more than they do, or the kids become responsible for the entire income of the family. That was never my job. Every penny I ever made went into my bank account because my parents were good.”
