    2XKO Active Development Will End in December 2026

    Hey all. We have an update to share on the future of 2XKO.

    2XKO’s active development will conclude at the end of 2026. Over the last few months, we’ve been monitoring 2XKO’s trajectory closely, and what we’ve seen is painting a clear, consistent picture: while a lot of you jumped in to try the game and there's an incredible community that plays every day, we haven’t seen enough players stick with the game to get to a path toward sustainability.

    Servers will remain on beyond 2026, and 2XKO will be playable on all platforms. Through the rest of 2026, we’ll be introducing content, feature improvements, and two new champions (Lux and Samira), with the intent to deliver our final bug fix patch in December of this year. After that, servers will remain on to support online play. Offline play is unaffected. We’ll give advanced notice if any of that changes.

    Riot Games Officially Confirms the End of an Era for League of Legends

    The League of Legends fighting game was in development for nearly a decade

    Riot Games is ending active development on its League of Legends fighting game 2XKO. The developer announced Thursday that it plans to finish the game's remaining work-in-progress content and end active development in December.

    "Over the last few months, we’ve been monitoring 2XKO’s trajectory closely, and what we’ve seen is painting a clear, consistent picture: while a lot of you jumped in to try the game and there's an incredible community that plays every day, we haven’t seen enough players stick with the game to get to a path toward sustainability," Riot said in a post on the company's official website.

    All active Neverness to Everness codes list

    Neverness to Everness codes make the grind a little bit easier with a small selection of level-up and progression materials to help push your favorite character over the edge to the next tier. Developer Hotta Studio launched the game with half a dozen codes. There's no set schedule for when new ones might drop, but if it's like the dev's other game, Tower of Fantasy, you can probably expect a handful of new codes every few months.

    We've listed all the active Neverness to Everness codes below, along with how to redeem them and what they reward you with.

    Hotta Studio launched Neverness to Everness with six promotional codes, which give you a mix of Annulith (the game's premium currency for spending on banners), level-up materials, restorative items, and Beetle Coins, NTE's version of gold. While there isn't an expiration date listed, these will eventually expire at some point (as all codes do), so make sure to claim them as soon as possible!

    Gacha MMO Neverness to Everness officially releases globally today on PC, PS5, and mobile

    Another baby gacha game turtle has made it to the waters of full release. Hotta Studios’ confoundingly named Neverness to Everness has made its official global launch as promised, bringing the urban setting of anime waifus and anomalous threats to PC via direct download or Google Play Games, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5.

    As detailed in a lengthy showcase video, NTE casts players as Esper Zero and places them in the city of Hethereau, where they join with a group of powerful agents to maintain the balance between reality and anomaly, along with plenty of more laid-back activities like side jobs, housing, and going on dates with favorite companions.

    Multiple victims reported after active shooter at Brown University

    Multiple people have been shot at Brown University in the United States, according to police, who are responding to reports of an active shooter on campus. 

    Police did not immediately release details about the victims’ conditions or the circumstances of the shooting.

    Officials initially said a suspect was in custody, before saying that was not in fact the case and police were still searching for a suspect or suspects.

    The incident was reported near the Barus & Holley building, a seven-storey structure that houses the School of Engineering and Physics Department, according to the school's website.

    The shooter remains at large after the university reversed an earlier alert that said that one person was in custody.

    Brown University said on its website a short time ago that the situation remains ongoing.

    "Situation remains ongoing. Continue to shelter in place. Law enforcement on site," it said on its website in an update at 5:52 p.m.

    Agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are responding to Brown University, the agency’s Boston field office said.

    “ATF agents are responding to the Brown University active shooter incident,” ATF Boston said on X.

    Brown University's Barus & Holley building, in the area where authorities have warned of an active shooter, houses the institution's engineering and physics departments.
