NL MVP candidate Shohei Ohtani smacked two home runs – a leadoff blast in the fifth and a two-run shot in the sixth — as the Dodgers put a 10-1 hurt on the Rockies through six innings en route to the victory.
Ohtani's second was his 29th of the season, to go along with 78 RBIs. The ball sailed over the fence in right-center and landed in the glove of Dodgers reliever Kyle Hurt, who was quite excited to make the play.
