Kimberley cruise season 2026 underway as one line signals a ship reshuffle

As the Kimberley cruise season gets underway for 2026, Seabourn has announced it’s leaving Australia’s centrepiece of adventure cruising, for cooler climes.

The cruise line, which only began sailing the Kimberley in 2024 with the purpose-built expedition ship Seabourn Pursuit, says rising demand for polar exploration has driven the change in its fleet deployment.

So after just four seasons in the Kimberley, Seabourn Pursuit will begin voyages in Europe and the Arctic region.

“Seabourn is seeing strong and sustained guest demand for Arctic expedition voyages, driven by interest in polar exploration, wildlife, and immersive experiences in remote destinations,” a spokesperson told Cruise Passenger.

Seabourn Kimberley program thriving, as future deployment shifts

Seabourn is optimistic for another sell-out season for its Kimberley program in 2026, which will commence in May, the third iteration of the expedition deployment to Australia’s northwest coastline. And while the fourth season is already set in stone for 2027, the Kimberley appears to be off the luxury cruise line’s agenda for 2028, LATTE can exclusively reveal.

Speaking with LATTE recently at Virtuoso’s AU/NZ Forum in Auckland, Rob Coleman, Senior Vice President, Sales & Trade Relations said Seabourn’s partnership with APT in the Kimberley has been very successful. The multi-year collaboration, inked in 2024, has seen APT take over the visiting Seabourn Pursuit (in 2024) and Seabourn Venture (in 2025), when they have been in region.

Beyond the glass ceiling: Behavioural intelligence is the power skill for women in tech

As the technology sector celebrates International Women's Day, we rightly applaud the progress made in representation and opportunity. Yet, for many women in leadership, navigating the industry's high-pressure environments reveals a persistent and exhausting challenge: the behavioural tightrope.

Women in tech are often caught in a classic double bind. They are encouraged to be assertive, but penalised for being perceived as aggressive. They are expected to be collaborative and empathetic, but then find their authority questioned. This creates a constant, draining tension between intention and impact. A female project lead may intend to drive her team to meet a critical deadline, but her directness is misread as being abrasive. A female CTO may intend to foster a culture of open debate but finds she must carefully moderate her tone in a way her male counterparts do not.

Give to Gain: building inclusive leadership in tech

International Women's Day is often a time for recognition. We celebrate achievements, acknowledge progress, and highlight the women shaping industries, organisations and communities. In technology, that visibility matters. It helps challenge outdated assumptions about who belongs in the sector and who gets to lead its future.

But this year's theme, "Give to Gain," calls for something more practical than celebration alone.

It asks us to consider what progress actually requires – and what organisations, leaders and individuals must give if they want to gain stronger teams, better outcomes and a more sustainable future for the technology workforce.

In the technology sector, the answer is clear: if we want to gain innovation, resilience and high performance, we must be willing to give opportunity, trust, sponsorship, time and structural support.

Beyond the pipeline problem: Why transformation starts with culture, not quotas

The conversation around women in technology has matured over the past decade. We've moved slowly but meaningfully from debating whether the problem exists to debating how best to solve it. Yet, many organisations are still reaching for the wrong tools.

The instinct is understandable. When faced with a systemic challenge, the natural response is to build a system in return: a formal mentorship programme or  a diversity target. These efforts are rarely without value, but they tend to treat gender equity as a project with a completion date rather than a culture that requires constant, deliberate tending.

Real transformation does not announce itself in a press release. It happens in the quiet moments that never make it into an annual report.

Tell Me Lies moves beyond its main toxic pair in a strong, less steamy season 3

There has never been a single act of deception at the center of Hulu’s Tell Me Lies. The characters in the college-set drama lie to one another—and themselves—regularly and without remorse, creating a toxic stew of untruths and gossip that threatens to boil over at any moment. Season three is no different. Creator Meaghan Oppenheimer continues to ratchet up the tension as the show works toward connecting its late-2000s and 2015 timelines. But in between the emotional warfare and surprise hookups lies a newfound sense of introspection, making this run of Tell Me Lies its most interesting yet.

Why ‘Tell Me Lies’ Season 3 Has TikTok In A Chokehold

‘Tell Me Lies’ season 3 is back on Hulu and fans are spiraling over the toxic romance all over again.

So, remember when we all swore we were done rooting for Lucy and Stephen at the end of Tell Me Lies season 2? Yeah, about that. Season 3 is here on Hulu (and Hulu on Disney+), and the toxic-romance discourse is louder than ever.

The new season drops its first two episodes on January 13, 2026, kicking off eight total episodes that run into late February, and the vibes are already pure emotional chaos.

Fans are binging, hate-watching, and spiral-texting their group chats in real time. It is that kind of season.

James Cameron Is Ready to Move Beyond ‘Avatar’: “I’ve Got Other Stories to Tell”

The outspoken Oscar-winner gets candid about the make-or-break fate of ‘Fire and Ash,’ his future projects (including a secret Terminator script), the threat of AI, and all the things that still get him riled up.

The filmmaker was in a Russian submersible exploring the wreck of the Titanic when he found himself trapped 12,500 feet below the ocean’s surface. “We had been caught in a vortex on the downwind side of the wreck that kept driving us back to the bottom,” Cameron recalls.

The director and his pilot’s attempts to break the sub free had exhausted their battery. So they powered down — and waited. Cameron sat in freezing darkness for about a half-hour in the haunting shadow of the iconic wreck, not knowing if the sub would have enough juice to resurface. It’s a nightmarish scenario eerily similar to what the world initially feared had happened to OceanGate’s doomed Titan submersible in 2023.

Can James Cameron make another blockbuster? Even he’s not sure

On the eve of the release of the latest "Avatar" film, James Cameron talks with Jason Carroll about filmmaking, racism, science fiction and box office. Even Cameron — director of some of the biggest, most expensive money-makers in Hollywood over the decades — says he's concerned about the business model of films.
