UFC boss drops hint on blockbuster Volk fight… and responds to bizarre presser gaffe
UFC president Dana White has opened up on his now infamous moment at Alexander Volkanovski’s latest world title press conference – while also declaring interest in a blockbuster superfight between the Australian superstar and UFC lightweight champ Justin Gaethje.
On the eve of Sunday’s hyped UFC featherweight showdown between Volkanovski and unbeaten Russian bogeyman Movsar Evloev, White has surprisingly declared himself open to the Australian superstar moving up one more time, even at 38, to try and become a two-division champion.
It follows Volkanovski, in fight week, declaring he wants a shot at American cult favourite Gaethje, who famously upset Ilia Topuria in June on no less than the White House lawn.

Speaking to Main Event before UFC 333, White showered Volkanovski with high praise before he locks horns with Evloev.
“He’s one of the greatest of all time, and he’s obviously become a huge star for us, too,” White said.
