North Melbourne defender Charlie Comben could be set for a stint on the sidelines after a high hit on West Coast midfielder Harley Reid.
Comben sparked a near all-in brawl after the three-quarter time siren on Sunday when he flattened Reid with an arm to the head.
Courting confrontation as he often does, Reid ran straight up to Comben after Elliot Yeo kicked a brilliant goal after the siren from the boundary line.
Seeing him coming, Comben stuck his arms out and collected the face of Reid, who went down covering his eyes as chaos unfolded around him.
Players from both sides came rushing in to remonstrate as umpires did their best the break up the fracas.
