    Renewed Hope school breakfast initiative kicks off in Lagos

    THE Lagos State Government has reaffirmed commitment to partnering with the Federal Government, private organisations and well-meaning individuals to improve the welfare of schoolchildren through sustainable education and nutrition programmes.

    The state Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu gave the assurance at the inauguration of the Renewed Hope National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme in Lagos on Tuesday.

    Sanwo-Olu was represented by Mrs Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin, the Secretary to the  Lagos State Government.

    He said that government alone could not shoulder the responsibility of nation-building.

    The governor said the state welcomed partnerships that would enhance the wellbeing of children, describing the breakfast initiative as a demonstration of love and care for pupils.

    The initiative, tagged “Adopt A School for Snacks for Thought – PBAT FEEDS!”, was unveiled alongside a digital dashboard designed to enhance transparency, accountability and stakeholder participation in school nutrition support.

    DICE roll out an extensive regional Australian tour to celebrate their second album

    Get ready to roll because DICE are headed out on an extensive tour for the back end of the year, taking in capital cities and regional spots throughout August and September.

    The Boorloo/Perth four-piece are headed out on the road to celebrate (and perform) their second album, I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View, which lands in our lives on July 31.

    Kicking off on August 8 in Tarndanya/Adelaide, DICE are set to take in a whopping 19 dates around the country, including stops in Queensland, NSW, ACT and Victoria. They'll be wrapping it all up with a monster hometown show in Dunsborough back in Western Australia on September 12, we're praying it all shakes out for a perfect spring day for that special gig.
