Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo returned in Monday night's 108-81 loss to the Boston Celtics, his first game in more than five weeks after straining his right calf.
He had sat out 15 games after injuring himself against the Denver Nuggets on Jan. 23, and coach Doc Rivers said pregame that he would return with a minutes restriction. He ended up playing 25 minutes.
The two-time Kia MVP, who has been out since Jan. 23, will be on a minutes restriction per Bucks coach Doc Rivers.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Giannis Antetokounmpo is back for the Milwaukee Bucks after a calf strain that forced the two-time MVP to miss 15 games.
Antetokounmpo scored 19 points and hauled in 11 rebounds in the Bucks’ 108-81 loss to Boston on Monday night.
Coach Doc Rivers said during his pregame availability that Antetokounmpo would play Monday night against the Boston Celtics. Rivers said Antetokounmpo would be on a minutes restriction.

Hours before the Milwaukee Bucks host the Boston Celtics on March 2 at Fiserv Forum, the team upgraded Giannis Antetokounmpo’s physical status for the first time since he reinjured his right calf on Jan. 23. Following his pregame workout, he was again upgraded to available.
Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said the 31-year-old will once again be on a minute restriction.
When Antetokounmpo injured the calf, which was the second time he strained it this season, Antetokounmpo predicted he would be out four to six weeks. March 2 marks the beginning of the sixth week since the injury, and Antetokounmpo has been doing “live” work with coaches and teammates the last two weeks.
