The European leg includes Formula 1’s return to Portugal in June, after Monaco, with Türkiye rejoining the calendar in October between Azerbaijan and Singapore. F1 sprint races increase from six to 10 and Portugal and Turkey return in 2027 calendar
Formula One has announced its calendar for 2027, with an increase in sprint races to 10 events, including at Monaco, and the addition of meetings in Portugal and Turkey.
The season of 24 races will open in Bahrain, while the British grand prix at Silverstone is to take place on the weekend of 2-4 July. All four races in the Middle East are scheduled to take place in their normal slots.
The sport also stated that as things stand this season the calendar remains the same, with the meetings in Qatar and Abu Dhabi still poised to close out the championship as the last two races. In April this year the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian grands prix were called off because of the war in the Middle East. The Bahrain race has been moved to Malaysia in October.
