‘The kids are No.1’: Lachie Neale’s emotional 12-week countdown to a career-defining call

Lachie Neale will not decide for at least three months which club he’ll play for in 2027 as he becomes the 112th player to reach the 300-game milestone on Sunday against Melbourne at the MCG.

The champion midfielder started his season in familiar style after a tumultuous off-season led to the break-up of his marriage and his wife Jules and their two children Piper, 4, and Freddie, 1, moving back to Perth. He also stood down as Lions co-captain.

“[It’s] obviously tough not having the kids here, but I’m pretty lucky that Jules, their mother, allows me to come and go from Perth,” Neale said.

Appearing on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show on Monday with Ben, Matt recalled: 'This is f****** completely true.

'After we'd been together for a little while, probably a few months, she admitted that – I think I met her best friend from high school, and it came out that the two of them went and saw Good Will Hunting together, and her best friend thought I was the cute one, and she thought Ben was the cute one.

Gwyneth Paltrow was "petrified" about returning to a movie set in Marty Supreme.

The 53-year-old actress is back on the big-screen after a seven-year hiatus in Josh Safdie's movie and admits that she had doubts about whether she would be able to perform at her best.

Gwyneth told Entertainment Weekly's The Awardist podcast: "Acting is so weird. It's so hard to explain how you do it. It's not a skillset that… it's not a trade that you learn and you get onboarded into how to do something.

"It's so weird and ephemeral and kind of magic. So I was like, how did I used to do this? And am I still going to be able to do this? Am I going to be able to access all that stuff and energy and in the moment?"
