    And while Strauchanie attempts to secure his own place at the MCG between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, Carlton Dry is giving two Aussie footy fans and their mate a guaranteed way in, with two double passes to the historic game up for grabs.

    While AFL and NFL traditionally take place on opposite sides of the globe, Carlton Dry believes the feeling, mateship and passion across both codes are much the same. For Strauchanie, however, the similarities go much further.

    After his AFL career didn’t quite reach the heights he expected, Australia’s self-appointed footy superstar has decided the NFL could finally be his opportunity to make it to the big league. With the confidence of a seasoned professional and the ability of, well, Strauchanie, he is determined to prove that making the switch is easier than everyone thinks.

    The Sporting Globe named NFL’s Australian sports bar partner

    On 11 September history will be made when the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers play a regular season NFL game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

    The game marks the first-ever regular season NFL game to be played in the Asia Pacific region, and venues across the country are preparing to activate the event.

    Signature Hospitality Group’sThe Sporting Globe Bar & Grill has been named the official sports bar partner of the NFL in Australia.

    The multi-year partnership sees The Sporting Globe’s 23 venues become the home of NFL fandom across the country.

    It's election day in the Cook Islands, with 7,000 voters expected to participate in polling.
