DJI Delivers Next-Generation Imaging Capabilities with Osmo Pocket 4

Powered by a 1-inch CMOS sensor, DJI's new pocket gimbal camera captures stunning 4K/240fps footage and clear low-light shots.

SHENZHEN, China, April 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — DJI, the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, today announces the Osmo Pocket 4. Building on the worldwide success of its predecessor, DJI has enhanced the imaging capabilities of its popular 1-inch CMOS pocket gimbal camera. It can now capture stunning 4K/240fps[1] footage and clearer low-light shots while delivering cinematic depth via 14 stops of dynamic range[1] and 10-bit D-Log[1]. With the Osmo Pocket 4's new intelligent tracking capabilities, creators can keep their subjects in focus and in frame as they move and mingle in a crowd.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 teased as follow-up to popular creator camera

One of the world’s most popular creator cameras is about to get a long-awaited follow-up. Overnight, DJI teased a brief glimpse of the Osmo Pocket 4 gimbal camera and confirmed when we’ll get the full reveal.

I’ve been using the fantastic DJI Osmo Pocket 3 since 2023, as have many other creators. Its large one-inch CMOS sensor takes better video than most phones, which is why you see so many of them at any event attended by journalists and creators.

While DJI didn’t show much about the Osmo Pocket 4 in its teaser video, the brand did set expectations for a bigger reveal on 16 April. Speculation is running wild about how the fourth-gen camera will improve on the existing model: will it have a bigger sensor? Multiple cameras? A more weatherproof design?

DJI Delivers Next-Generation Imaging Capabilities With Osmo Pocket 4 Camera

DJI has unveiled the Osmo Pocket 4, the latest version of its 1-inch CMOS pocket gimbal camera, adding 4K/240fps video capture, improved low-light performance and new intelligent tracking features for content creators.

The drone and camera maker has built on the previous Osmo Pocket model with a focus on cinematic quality and streamlined single-handed shooting. The Osmo Pocket 4 offers 14 stops of dynamic range, a 10-bit D-Log colour profile and new tracking tools aimed at keeping moving subjects in frame.

The 1-inch CMOS sensor and f/2.0 aperture are pitched at cleaner portraits in dim environments, with the 14 stops of dynamic range and 10-bit D-Log helping to preserve tones at dusk, by the seaside or in other low-light conditions.

David Fifita delivers monster takedown of Gold Coast Titans

The South Sydney Rabbitohs second-rower might have left the Gold Coast Titans over the off-season, but he clearly isn't finished talking about his former club.

Fifita's last season in Gold Coast under then coach Des Hasler was an absolute mess.

The star found himself dropped, battling an ankle injury and at one point used in the centres despite being a former Queensland State of Origin second-rower.

He was in the headlines as looking for a potential release from the middle of the season or earlier onwards, and got one at the end of the year, linking up with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and old Brisbane Broncos coach Wayne Bennett.

Centre of attention: Fifita reveals key to growth as Origin battle looms

Jojo Fifita has got Origin aspirations on his mind and is hoping a former Maroons coach will get him there.

As he prepares to face off against incumbent Queensland centre Gehamat Shibasaki in Saturday night derby against the Broncos, the 23-year-old has credited the clarity and insight new Titans coach Josh Hannay has given him to help perfect his craft in the outside backs.

Hannay – who served as Billy Slater's assistant from 2022-2025 – played a majority of his 150+ game NRL career in the centres and hasn't been afraid to pass that knowledge onto the likes of Fifita who has grown in confidence upon being a cemented part of Gold Coast's right edge.

‘Doesn’t take me for granted’: Fifita torches Titans after Bulldogs win

Former Gold Coast forward David Fifita has delivered a scathing back-hander to his former NRL employers.

Speaking to ABC Sport immediately after South Sydney’s 32-24 Good Friday win over the Bulldogs at Accor Stadium, Fifita didn’t hold back.

Describing the result as a ‘great win’ against a quality opponent, the 26-year-old then revealed his true feelings about his departure from the Titans.

“It’s good being down here with Wayne (Bennett) and the boys … and to have the support of a team that loves me, and doesn’t take me for granted,” he said.

BYD: Crown Lost; A 'Toyota' Abroad Next?

$BYD COMPANY(01211.HK) released its Q4 2025 results after the Hong Kong close on Mar. 27 (Beijing time). Key takeaways are below.

    1. Revenue beat was driven by BYD Electronics; auto revenue in line: Q4 revenue was RMB 237.7bn, slightly above the RMB 236.7bn consensus, largely on strong QoQ growth in non-core businesses. In the core auto segment, revenue was RMB 181.5bn, broadly in line, but ASPs kept slipping.

In the core auto sales line, Q4 revenue reached RMB 181.5bn, matching market expectations. However, vehicle ASPs continued to trend down.

    2. ASP still on a downtrend: In Q4, auto ASP fell by RMB 1,500 QoQ to RMB 135,000, as clearance discounts offset the mix-upside from premiumization and exports. Inventory-clearing pressure restrained the structural ASP benefits.

At a press Q&A with Tom's Hardware at GTC 2026, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang downplayed criticism of DLSS 5, the company's new use of AI and neural rendering to infer how certain features of games would look if they were more photorealistic.

Since the debut of the feature, some critics have vocally complained on social media that the technology is making games look worse, homogenous, or only show Nvidia's view of the world. Much of the criticism has focused on the updated appearances of Resident Evil Requiem's Grace Ashcroft and Leon Kennedy."Well, first of all, they're completely wrong," Huang said in response to a question from Tom's Hardware editor-in-chief Paul Alcorn about the criticism."The reason for that is because, as I have explained very carefully, DLSS 5 fuses controllability of the of geometry and textures and everything about the game with generative AI," Huang continued.

Nvidia faces gamer backlash over 'breakthrough' AI graphics feature

A new feature from chip-maker Nvidia that promises cinematic-quality graphics using AI has prompted a backlash online, despite the company claiming it would "reinvent" what is possible in video games.

Nvidia said the DLSS 5 tool, which will be rolled out this autumn, would allow games to have "photoreal computer graphics previously only achieved in Hollywood visual effects".

In images shared with the media, the tech was shown radically changing the appearance of characters and environments in games such as Resident Evil Requiem and Hogwarts Legacy.

But some industry professionals said its use of AI went too far, making graphics feel airbrushed and hollow.
