    Cam Roberts to depart Essendon

    Assistant Coach to resign at conclusion of seventh season with Club.

    Essendon wishes to advise that Cam Roberts has resigned from his position as Assistant Coach and will finish coaching at the end of the 2026 AFL season.

    Widely respected for his ability to develop players and build strong relationships, Roberts has played an important role in the growth of a number of Essendon's emerging talent throughout his time at the NEC Hangar. 

    Roberts joined Essendon as a Development Coach ahead of the 2020 season and has served in several key roles across seven seasons with the Club. 

    He was appointed Head of Development in 2022 before being promoted to Senior Assistant Coach in 2025, leading Essendon's forwards across the past two AFL seasons.

    Assistant coach Cam Roberts is leaving the Bombers at season's end

    ANOTHER Essendon assistant is departing the club with Cam Roberts to finish up at the Bombers at season's end.

    Roberts joined Essendon ahead of the 2020 season and has held multiple roles at the club, most recently as assistant coach since 2025, leading the club's forwards across the past two years.

    But he has resigned and will leave at the end of the campaign, continuing a period of change at the Bombers.

    "When I first arrived, I simply wanted to contribute and help people improve. To have had the chance to work alongside such committed players, coaches and staff over the past seven seasons has been a privilege," Roberts said.

    Chris Bath to depart ABC Radio Sydney Drive in move to Sundays

    ABC Radio Sydney presenter Chris Bath will depart the Drive show, moving to the Sunday morning show.

    NewsRadio Breakfast presenter Thomas Oriti will take on hosting the Drive show from 2026.

    Sunday morning presenter Rae Johnston will present on Saturday mornings, while Dom Knight will continue to present the Saturday Breakfast show.

    Radio presenter Chris Bath says she has made a "very difficult decision" to leave ABC Radio Sydney Drive and will move to a new radio show on Sunday mornings.

    Announcing she was leaving the program, Bath said she was hoping to focus on "passion projects" that needed her attention.

    Host of the ABC Radio Sydney’s Drive program, Chris Bath, has resigned live on air during her Monday afternoon show.

    Bath told listeners it had been a “big year” and “timing in life is a funny thing”.

    “I’ve decided to step down from Drive to pursue some passion projects and different opportunities away from the news cycle that have been beckoning for years,” she said.

    Bath named her successor as fellow ABC radio journalist Tom Oriti, who is hosting the ABC NewsRadio Breakfast program and Background Briefing on ABC Radio National.

    The opening T20I at Newlands will be held on December 5. Cricket South Africa have previously had some flexibility around permitting players to miss international games for the Big Bash, but with the 2026 T20 World Cup looming all Proteas will be required to report for duty.

Cricket South Africa has confirmed player selections for an upcoming white-ball series against Ireland, which will impact participants of Weber WBBL|11.

    Among the notable players departing are Laura Wolvaardt and Marizanne Kapp, who will leave their clubs early to join the national team. The first match of the T20I series is scheduled for December 5 at Newlands.
