One SA Health employee has been reprimanded for accessing the private medical files of AFL legend Tony Modra.

Modra was seriously injured in a truck crash near Victor Harbor in June.

SA Health says an investigation into two more workers is ongoing, while six other employees were no longer being investigated.

SA Health worker reprimanded over Tony Modra records

According to ABC News, one SA Health employee has been reprimanded for accessing the private medical records of AFL legend Tony Modra after he was seriously injured in a truck crash. SA Health said two other employees remain under investigation.

The department said the number of employees being investigated for potentially inappropriate access had been revised from nine to three. Of those three, one person has been reprimanded and two investigations continue. Six people are no longer under investigation, SA Health said, adding that any sanction becomes part of an employee’s permanent record.

In July, SA Health said nine staff members were either being investigated over alleged inappropriate access or assessed to determine whether their access had always been appropriate. The department also apologised to Modra’s family at that time for any distress caused.

A former Services Australia employee used privileged access to Centrelink profiles to submit fraudulent government benefit claims in a "significant breach of trust", a court has heard.

Seve Rudolf Seifried, 40, was handed a suspended sentence in the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 28, to be served in the community through a 12-month good behaviour order.

He pleaded guilty to charges that included obtaining a financial advantage by deception and unauthorised access to or modification of restricted data.

Public servant charged over alleged multi-million dollar fraud of NDIS

A 39-year-old NT Department of Children and Families employee has been charged with using her position to defraud the National Disability Insurance Scheme of millions of dollars.

The AFP alleges in her public servant role Genevine Ifunanya Ebelebe referred "vulnerable" people to an NDIS business she co-owned with 47-year-old Kingsley Ebelebe, who was charged with fraud in February.

Ms Ebelebe faced the Darwin Local Court today and the case is due to be next mentioned on August 18.

A 39-year-old Darwin woman has been charged with using her position as a public servant to defraud the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) of millions of dollars.

Police employee charged with stalking after allegedly accessing woman's emails

A civilian police employee has been charged after she allegedly accessed the emails of a woman she knew without her permission.

Police were told the 44-year-old woman had allegedly accessed the emails on July 3, and launched an investigation into alleged domestic violence offences.

Following inquiries, police searched a Buttaba home later that day and seized a laptop.

The woman, who works at a Northern Region command, was arrested and taken to Toronto Police Station where she was charged with accessing restricted computer data; stalking and knowingly contravening an apprehended violence order.

Largo hospital employee accused of sexually battering 2 vulnerable patients

LARGO, Fla. – A former Largo hospital employee is facing charges after police say he sexually battered two patients while he worked at the facility.

According to the Largo Police Department, 28-year-old Se'Jour Deangelo Fulks sexually battered patients at HCA Florida West Largo on multiple occasions.

Fulks was an employee at the hospital from January 2026 to May 2026.

He has been arrested on three counts of sexual battery on two vulnerable adults.

It is not yet clear if there are more victims who have not yet come forward to speak with detectives.

Former HCA Largo Employee Arrested on Sexual Battery Charges Involving Patients

LARGO, Fla. — The Largo Police Department announced the arrest of a 28-year-old former hospital employee accused of sexually battering two vulnerable adult patients at HCA Florida Largo Hospital.

According to police, Se’Jour Deangelo Fulks of Clearwater was arrested on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and charged with three counts of sexual battery involving mentally defective victims. Investigators said the alleged incidents occurred while Fulks was employed as a patient care technician at HCA Florida Largo West Hospital on Indian Rocks Road from January 2026 through May 2026.

Detectives developed probable cause during the investigation that Fulks sexually battered patients on multiple occasions inside a locked mental health unit at the hospital, according to arrest affidavits.
